The one thing that's very clear about your track and my interpretation - your vocals just cut right through it all! Yours is a more "modern" approach, all the arpeggios and the kind of hip hop feel you have to it. Really good. I think I could have done a much better job with the original vocal tracks without effects but hey, I really enjoyed putting it together. You have "Lost and Found" posted as an acapella - maybe I'll give that the "Richie Winn" treatment. Thanks for getting in touch and good luck with all our music. I would have liked some hihats on the Flying Solo part as it would have added to the depth and emotion of that part. Your voice sounds a bit nasal...did you filter some of the high end in there?....
Overall a very good effort but there could be some improvements on the mixing side of things.
You've got a lot of talent and definitely a good voice. Some work would help on the production, well actually the mixing side of things. in the chorus however some more punch would be needed. It's just a bit empty.
The vocals could use a smooth stereo echo to add some vibe. The drums could also use a bit of tweaking to get some punch behind them.
