I might be a Rock guy but I grew up in Jersey City listening to Hip Hop and Rap as well. Just so happens Gang Starr happens to be one of my faves. This reminds me of them and that is a most excellent thing. Awesome job.

Format, young man I find that you have some interesting and deep insights on the subject matter that you present. I like your thought process and it's truly refreshing to hear a artist of your caliber doing your thing. I'm not into the "Get My Money- Shoot You to get Yo Money, Shoot 'em all Up and then degrade our Sistas in the process" kind of rap.

I more into "conscious / political" style Hip Hop ie: "Immortal Technique," "Boots Riley & The Coup," "Street Sweeper Social Club," (also Boots Riley) "Dead Prez," ect,
Hip Hop with a true messgae.

The more I listen to your tracks, the more I'm liking what I hear. The "Landr" site did do a great job in mixing and mastering on this track, congates. Another great production

So let me officially welcome you to Looperman, just have to say I'm really, really digging this track! Luv your "Smooth Poetic Approach" to the song. And the musical arrangement and feel gives the track a nice "r&b flavor" along with the hip hop theme. Very enjoyable to listen to. Like to hear the mastered / mixed version, and also I'm sure you have a longer version of the song.

For heavens sake I'm 63 and almost everyday I'm listening to and enjoying hip hop!
It wasn't supposed to be like this ......
I love the little tweaks in this that appear here and there ... I dunno what you call them but I'm sure you know what I mean. Extremely well put together. You or whoever are very good at editing and arranging this stuff.
Someone mentioned mixing and mastering it ... hasn't that already been done?
