Yeah I like this. If you already got dubstep sounds and the tempo seems to be at the mark I would try and fuse DnB into dubstep or vice versa. I think that would give it character and lengthen the track a lil more. But I like the idea of where this ones going. Sounds good man...Blume :)

some very cool sounds in here and it would be amazing if there was big fat sub bass somewhere to rattle the room!
LongJohnsLiver
LongJohnsLiver replied Unknown

its hitting pretty good if i was you i would bring up the 20hz,40hz,60hz,100hz E.Q. little more and then put some reverb in it it would hit harder and the bass would carry longer the strings could be warmer just a little bit did you track the whole beat out by that i mean each sound in a separate audio channel
LongJohnsLiver
LongJohnsLiver replied Unknown
oh yes i did, i'm very meticulous about my channels and effects haha. Yeah i see what you mean too, i did this one a long time ago and i dont really do rap beats. I'f it were now i would have done things differently. Thanks for the advice fam!

Man, nice bass mods. I like the watery synths. the bass is poppin n' wobblin. Good atmosphere. the breakdown is slick almost has an 8-bit feel to it, good job!

Thanks a lot for the positive criticism! Glad someone liked it, knew it was different but didn't know what people would think, lol. Thanks

Whatever software you are using, you are a genius with it! An instant favorite, and as for length I suspect you have it right on in this case...

Excellent track but too SHORT! This is definitely something that you should develop into something longer. Very hypnotic and trippy; I might put it on a loop and just repeat it until I have an acid flashback....

Hey man thanks a lot! really appreciate the positive feedback. After listing to it again this morning i thought of a way i can wrap an ending up with this one, thanks

when in doubt, put under electronic, but ambient is a pretty bendable genre too. like the pseudo horn part, and the drums are pretty good, the textures are good too. interesting stuff

i like the intro! nice work. old school! could get ripped up by the right mc. could have a little bit more bass, but i could tell ( i thinkk) you were going for this kind of minimilistic sound on the bass. i like it a lot. got a nice style to it. good work
LongJohnsLiver
LongJohnsLiver replied Unknown
Thanks man, and yeah i wasn't wanting too much bass with this one.

It's sort of like 2/3 of a boc song in that u have basic structure there but not all the weird noises and vocal snippets. If I were u I would go at it full bore and weird it up a little! Nice so far tho.

wicked man. I love the boards, and i really think you have captured that style. Very atmospheric. I Like the reverb on that snare against that chilled bass and sparkly keys.

The organ is crackling a bit in my speakers at about 1:58 - maybe you could fiddle with the frequencies there to tone it down without losing its power.

Really nice job.

thanks man, and yeah i noticed that too, i just got tired of messing with the stuff because i did it in one sitting. but anyways i really appreciate the positive feedback
