i definitely recognize the use of fl studio haha. sytrus makes that bass sound and i remember the vocal thing "This is a dangerous gro... uh groups that we're dealing with." i think your beat needs some compression. it will add definition. and maybe define a more constant hit pattern. im not knocking innovation, if thats what your going for, im just saying the beat definitely doesn't fit too well with the dnb genre. other than that try not to do all the mastering on the master channel in fl, it can cause that tracks to bleed together which is what joker666 is talking about (everything sounds like it is coming from a single source). again im not trying to insult, just trying to give some constructive criticism. hope i helped =]
im sorry but i made this track with reason 3 and the basslines are special synths for the combinator. but anyway tx for the help. check out my new tune run fox when it is online. a bit of the material is from fossil fox but its get a new direction. and the beat get his compression lol
No compression, I think all sounds merge into one ... Just bass is recogniseable... somewhere i can hear too much reverb but cant recognized which one is it maybe one of the snares
this is the first time on here iv heard n e thing that boarders my kind of jungle!!!
this tune has massive potential, though i think it needs a bit of work just tightening it up and a little eq. a little amen hear and there would set this off more..
i can understand what travis says if u like cheesey tracks, this is strictly hard music and i like it!!
keep it up bro!!!
I liked this track so much i had to listen to it twice in a row.. The only thing i didnt like was the end, i would have pulled the plug @ 4:12, but i really like the sound of this. My initial reaction was "atari teenage riot"
i really can understand you, travis.this track is for a small group of people who love to rock this hard compression, but the most of them can´t do anything with this noisy sound.for my experience its moreover a important point mainly how to compress a track^^.
I love the intro!! Nice to hear some originality. I agree with neo below that they could have been blended better with the beat, but this is a great track none the less! keep up the good work!
Yo man this intro i dope! kinda creepy tho///lol but i like that! But you maybe should have faded out those magnetic feild sounds from the intro into the main drop/ But I LIKE THIS. very different, and smooth to nice one...
Neopanda
wicked drums man
as you said, really weird, but beat just makes it so wicked man lol
are these all loops?
Other than the pretty nicely made up choppings of the breaks it was hard to follow tbh lol
but good none-the less :)
Keep it up,
Steve
It's not the type of bussiness i normally hear from you. But thats ok///Anyway nice style flex here check out my ambient fix too JACOIO. lol, anyway. Big up, Boh, selectah!!!
I like it. I'm real into World Music sounds, and this is very cool to me. In fact, I'd like to sample it and do my own thing if that's okay with you. If not, that's cool. Cool idea, tho!
This is HEAVY brother. Luv it. We should totally collab/but i use FL? would this be a promlem? i'd say turn the highs down JUST a bit. THATs ALL!*^^...--===+++**++===---___YOU KNOW!!!!!!!!!LOL
I FUCKIN LOVE HARDCORE. So be warned, i have high standards when it comes to it. The intro had a nice dark feel to it. The beat is great and dirty which is alright, and the mono synth is really nice accually. I like how much detune the secondary has as well! this would be bad to listen to on acid for sure! Oh yeah, and this would not really be classified as hardcore.
check out my tracks sometime? Lorin (Dj Somnium)
hey hey, like whats goin on here! fuckin trippy ass sound effects goin on and a tight build finally to add it up! i like the sequencing of the drums as well. Good job!
That bassline in the beggining is awesome, but definitly overpowers those drums that go for a few seconds. I wouldn't have my drums distorted the whole time, wait... AWESOME!! A JACK HAMMER!!! On a dark track I may put a bit of distortion on the drums the whole time but not that much the whole time.
Definitely hardcore in my opinion, even if it's not generic hardcore (all the better right?). I love the purposeful distortion on so many elements of the mix, and the glitchiness is really fun. Keep it up, hope to hear more!
Nice to see you coming along! Great potential here, you could clean up the noise a bit but who am i? very hard sound i agree. I would put a little more work into that 1 i'd like to hear the finished product!
like the style fair twisted, would say the beat needs to be less formatted and more random and fuked up to suit the style could be hard to get right, nice effort keep um coming
I noticed you had squarepusher as an inspiration. Amazing bass player. My uncle got to work with him and he told me he is a real jerk. Haha just telling you.
The drums don't get the solid sound they need, they work good for the intro. At some point you need a good solid kick and snare and all those cymbals you are going to use them and make them hit hard with a dirty bassline.
nice effects mate, weird though lol
Got some really old skool feel in the latter parts of the track, great stuff
very different and unique, keep it up
It'll just gett better as time goes by :)
