Excellent mix. Every instrument is outstanding. I think my favorite thing is the way you used the vocal snippets. Also, the keyboard solo would make the Doors jealous.
Bleep this is funkin great real nice clean clean sound i enjoyed it very much good to see you are still posting here at the Looperman. I've been getting into the blues harmonica there is not enough hours in the day. Best regards Rob.
Hi Bleep... nice work. I especially enjoyed the bass play. I enjoyed the sax and I agree it would sound better with a better sax but still sound good. Keep it up!
some funk elements perhaps. is that a live performance by you on the sax? what great riffs! what a sexy surprise the emergence of the female voice. nice job. really enjoyed it. could add a whole second section and a reprise to this one! regards - Dan
i know it's a little short but it was the purpose. Usually, i work on duration between 3 and 4 minutes, sometimes, changes are good for breaking a kind of monotony lol
But yeah...this is certainly a kind of fusion cause it brings together many different elements from jazz to folk etc. and it sounds very pleasing to my ears and it's fun to listen to....excellent job, my friend !:)
Bleep my friend here is a playful Bleep brought back memories of LABELLE i loved that song still do and this is very very cool track super sax and slap bass work slick as can be. Robbie
i started to answer your interrogation in my answer to royalnation :) i could explain more but in english it's not really easy for me, i'm better in french lol
On a broader scale, i try to stay around composition in which the staging of bass and brass is very present and all this in an electro jazzy universe
This one got my feet tapping! The bass is very cool and quite slappy, dig it.
Sheer madness works here, the song has a lot of energy and each instrument seems to have a life of it's own. To me this is a good length to this idea. I find too many people extend a song way past it's interest level. Nice restraint and great job overall on the track!
thanks for your words! I join you on the principle of the relevance of short duration! (if i well understood?). and then if it makes you want to revive the piece just at the end, it’s that eventually it created a kind of dependency ;)
first i wrote this track for the bass guitar and then i wanted to simulate a kind of battle! as i really like saxo (or brass instruments) i decided to make something like a question / answer match lol
latin fusion with jazzy elements and an outstanding bass play...the sax is o.k. in the middle ranges but we know that there is no vst which functional well in the highes...all in all, great jammy tune with your huge creativity as usual...congrats and handshake with the thanx for the upload
i agree with you about the saxo, it's difficult with my soft "reason" to find something near a real saxo... i searched a long time i didn't find anything.
if someone use reason and have a solution, i take it with pleasure (something like settings may be?)

you're so right about "Lady Marmalade", a great track from the disco's years!! it was a voluntary wink to this period.
See you soon on your next track? ;)
