Beautiful arrangement. Dynamic without being bombastic. Very nice.

I've never heard of Keiko Matsui before, so I youtubed her and hey, she's spectacular! Especially Night Waltz: Wow she's an inspiration.

Thanks, it's an immense honour to be compared to a great pianist like her! =o

"I payed my two bits to see the high diving act..and I got to see the high diving act!"(apologies to Yosemite Sam).....after listening to that..well I feel..Satisfied is the word that seems most appropriate....I enjoyed this on quite a few levels...but what I really dig is the inherently optimistic cheery attitude at the core of the performance....Bravo!... Bloody marvellous!........cheers planet

When i was listening this song i was imaging like if i was at black white films which was Really Great.

Just a question what was that weird noises at the end.

Hehe thanks, that's the image many of the Loopers think of as well! Which means good stuff, since it means I've successfully executed this song.

That sound at the end was supposed to be a heartbeat lol

Its an awesome track, but i feel like i want to tweak it dont ask me why, i feel a classical fusion with dance/dnb elements coming into mind, hmm.

Anyways, love the piano work :)

As pep said, classical is very under rated, check out my track "emotion" it may not be classical but its close enough (violin riffs by me)

Keep up the good work.

Thanks again for the kind review. I'm working on a number of material right now... the thing is I'm quite... shall we say a very harsh critic of my own works...

Just remember: Patience is a virtue hehehe ;)

Definately a silent movie sound to it. I see why you said it killed your fingers. I look forward to hearing what you put out when you have a mini home studio. Another excellent piece.

Some of us just play around. But a few have real talent. That is absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of a story I heard. A mother took her 5 year old son to a piano recital. Just before the pianist was to come out the mother looked around and couldn't find her son. Looking frantically she glanced at the stage and saw her son at the piano playing Twinkle twinkle little star. The pianist walked out. Instead of having the child removed he sat down and started playing with him. It was the most spectacular song of the evening. When we give our best the Lord joins with us and makes a beutiful peice. This song reminded me of that story and how it kept me from giving up playng music. Thank you for a beutiful piece.

I'm so glad someone is doing classical music on this site. It's a genre that people tend to overlook. It's one of the best types of music out there to envoke feeling in my opinion. Well done. Pep

keep up the good work sargeant G........was this inspired at all by the recent ANZAC day publicity?......"rapid fire" piano was made with courage and valour......my salute to you

lol thanks. No not at all. I composed this ages ago and was actually initially titled "Infestation". It originally had knives sharpening and unknown things being sliced up in the background (and it would have conjured quite a different image to what you're hearing now)

But after sampling with the snazzy guns, I decided that the WWI theme suited it better. I then changed the tempo, cut up sections and added new ones, en voila, a pest infestation turned into an infestation of a different kind!

Your piano skills are evident. I can see the 'Doughboys' in their WWI outfits and plate style metal helmets and woolen trenchcoats. Nice job!

That is some incredible piano! I think it would be best for a slapstick comedy that involved some idiots robbing a bank =D! Just my opinion.
