Nice one, starts nice and drums develope realy cool and that lead synth is amaizing! At 1.35 you have very nice pad so chiled and great. And at 2.20 that lead transforms and becomes even better when you added drums it was great!
Mastering maybe was frustrating but it shure payed off.
This song is great, and i would like if you could give me
some info how you made this track, what vsts you used, do you used
any loops and what did you do for mastering!
Again great one!!!!
No Loops. I used ReFX Vanguard(bass/synths) and ReFX Nexus(pads/piano) mainly. And 3xosc(basic FL thing) i think. I just exported the mixed file and loaded it as an audio clip on a new project(my PC wouldn't let me otherwise) and mastered with basic FL plugins(re-mastered about 7 times)
P.S. It definitely did NOT form up in a day or two. :)
thanks again for pointing out Leon Bolier to me, it's fantastic music. damn those dutch with their awesome raves lol
to be completely honest, the baseline works and it doesn't...
at the break, it really takes new life, and i really really enjoyed the build.
the baseline felt more effective at that encompassing fullness?
but at the first part, ... i almost want to suggest that the baseline be a little bit more sedate?...
then again, the whole musical piece is damn good.
the arpeggio from left field at 4 minute-ish area was really cool!
Awesome dude, you are becoming an artist, it's pretty cool to see how you have grown over the year
Yea, that guy is awesome. At least when he's solo, most of his collabo's suck.
I get what you mean about the bassline. There was some guy who reviewed this tellin me about the bassline, he knew what he was saying. Seems like he left tho :(
I wish I had gotten more creative with it, I just threw the midi bass in there. I may change the bass synth and some lil note change ups in there. The lead synth isn't that satisfying imo too. My fav part is definitely that 4ish synth.
that whole talk about the 5 waveforms gets me thinking all the time...
ahem, ranting,
this track is definitely beautiful, the piano harmonizing was enough to make me favorite this.
it verges on professional work. It has this... "Listen TO ME" feeling about it.
Something i can really identify with, and truly appreciate
i just wish i had the HUGE system right now to blow fireworks up with your track as the background music.
btw, thanks for giving me the insiders view on the song and helping me throughout all my ... crap lol
i am definitely gonna put this on my iPod
need to e-mail you
Thanks for the compliments mate, I still don't get that harmonizing thing tho, all I tried to do was just to get some dyads.
I don't how to get that "listen to me" feeling. But I really took some time on this thing. It's somewhat in the personal level, I thought that people will find it boring. But everyone surprisingly liked it. Makes me proud
We deffo need to talk dude. E-mails don't cut me, lol
I think the first thing I'm noticing is that your turnarounds and sound selection are luring me in all the time, very smooth, is this finished or are you putting more on top, this seems like it go into alot of different directions...like this and will try to listen to more of your stuff...thanks for posting your work!!
victormusic01x....in the nyC....movin' to the beat!
Hey matey! 2:50 onwards this is a bangin tune mate...felt upto that point it was missing that pumpin bassline ..felt that should in there all the way...but hey this is awsome mate! I love it! The melody is nice and deep and darkish!!! Tune!
Hey, sorry for the long wait lol. I just felt like it had to be long to kinda create some atmosphere. I'm glad you liked it tho. How is the Pulse comin together?
hahah, thanks. For 2 months I couldn't be able to finish anything, frustrating lol. It's kinda funny that the day I finished my exams pretty much half of this formed up. Thanks :)
There is actually smth like that started by a guy named Herve in US. It has pitch bend basses cheesy vox shots with tons of fx and some cheesy yet catchy melodies. I gotta admit mine isnt anything like it tho ;d its more like electro funky tribal minimal whatever. A new genre ;p
I thought this was very good! I liked the way it went a bit deeper and atmospheric in the last minute or so as you stripped some sounds out. I would have brought that bit in a bit earlier and then brought some of those original sounds back in. Good overall though!
to be honest, i really didn't start to feel it till 1:20ish once the bass came in, but as the resonance came, it became soo apparent. beautiful head swells. great touch on the ride hat there!
you don't know any theory? lol.. freaking crazy...
i was just thinking?.. is there a way to let off the sidechain a little? just near the end 3:30-5:00?? soo the crescendo's soft build becomes full bodied, and then taper it off naturally like you did around the 5 minute mark? it's not a big deal, but it was a little thought that popped into my head... it might have been interesting to have the swells dissipate, and then the build and drums become full bodied, and then back again? meh? that would be a headache to master tho..
anyways!
i really like it!
(it's good to be back)
ohh, and one more thing, any reason for naming it "fraternity?"
Hey, there. Never told I don't know any theory lol. In fact I got more into it lately. But I'm not much of a theory head I'm more of a practician and experimentalist lol.
Actually I'm thinking of remaking it because i found a good bass to go with it. Sine bass triads, my first time trying such a thing. And I don't worry much about the mastering side. I like messing with Compressors and EQs
Glad you liked it there. As for the name, It's the
name of my old gaming clan. Also I really like the ring to it.
good stuff mate nice to know your'e still knocking them out. i am into my progressive at the mo so this is right down my street, its really hard to do but you have done really well. a couple of things that might make it a little better tho, maybe compress the kick to bring it out a bit and make it more punchy? and second maybe a huge delayed reveerb on that gated synth bass thingy, would sound wkd. just a thought, good job tho
hunta
Thanks Hunta. Glad to see ya alive. I finally found a good bass sound for this. I will go for a revision. And polish my main synth a bit. Some remaster too. I added a bit reeverb on that thing but it wasn't enough i guess. So how you doing? Anything new coming anytime soon?
nice!! im lovin this track! i think it would be deep house, progressive house, or some sort of progressive, i like it! i think it just needs a little more energy, maybe after a while it breaks down into this massive awesome beat and the melody gets stronger, that would be cool!
I have just made my first house track, its called 'True Sin Feat. EVRiM' check it out on my profile, tell us what you think!
Hey, hope all is well there? You were nowhere to be found for quite some time. Actually I got a lot to do with this track. The mastering downright sux, It got me spending a lot of time with no result. But I think my melodies have potential. Those tribal drums too, the reeverb sux but if i change it, it sux even harder. Well ttyl in gmail
