absolutely amazing track and the bass synth is super cool...that lead synth from 1.08 is the winner for me...outstanding...you put it together by loops or is there some own idea too?
i rarely download a song, but i had to on this. Might write to it and send to you. This was a special one to me. the intro alone is amazing. wow. I'll be checking on u!
very cool ambience...fortunatelly there is no trap here for me (I'm too old :-) so this is a stunning track...as traz mentioned: relaxing music, but from the top league...
Thanks Danke, definitely should be expecting a response from you after placing this one in Ambient.
If you listen to the original samples from Kadoonthetrack they have a strong trap vibe, however I blended in a lot of ambient percussion sounds as well which cancelled out the effect.
Was planning for this one to be bassy as well however I can't tell because my monitors don't bloat up the bass (as they were designed not to).
I was a bit skeptical about placing this in ambient because I felt that the composure sometimes pulled you away from the relaxing mood such as the chorus intro's.
Trance is definitely in the mind/ear of the beholder... I hear this as trip hop or something like that. I like that genre as well though, so I can definitely get into this. Unusual drum stretching going on here, which definitely goes to the psychedelic side. I'm hearing a good amount of clicking at some loop points, which I think take away from the enjoyment of the song. Don't know if they are in the loops themselves, or if it was how they were used though. That's really the only thing I hear which makes it stand out as "unfinished." The song is worth taking further!
I never really noticed the "clicks" until I saw your comment and now I can't stop hearing them to the point that it was driving me insane.
The good news is that I isolated the clicks to the bass synth sample and it was simply fixed with a parametric cutoff that ate anything other than the bass.
It is fixed now so I hope you can enjoy it, thanks for the pickup.
Done. I added a melodic line on top of "The Difference
Engine" and posted it at my profile under the tracks tab.

Lovely Pad Intro. Then a cool moog like bass. Sounds a bit like Bowie on the Album ¨Low¨ (Subterranean) and I mean that in the highest of compliments. You build it with dubstep like elements as well, which I like how you are bringing this song along. Now 3/4 through and realizing that this is not trance but a really cool ambient tune. This is the kind of music I like to listen too and sometimes make so I am truly impressed.

Kind words crucethus but I owe the quality of the pad and most of the loops to Justze3 because he worked on these loops for over a month before he uploaded them to the site where I patched them together into this composition in only a few days.
The genre is weird I have to say, listen to this song with headphones and you realise why I believe that it's trance. With a desktop HiFi however the stereo is no as well defined and it's more ambient instead. I believe the line lies in the impact of the song on the listeners psycho-acoustic perception.
Thanks man I'm relieved you like it. Just before uploading this track I went through your stuff and found that you're more of a hip hop artist so I was afraid you may be disinterested by the trance side of it.
Your style reminds me of another looperman user, cod2pac who makes hip hop with those modern vibe twist. Maybe you could have a look at his stuff.
im almost a year late but found this browsing the people that used my loops, this is a fine song it has some flaws but making a song with loops is a difficult thing so i respect what you have done with them. Noticed you havent put anything out since February hope your still producing tracks.
Cool work man.
Keep going!
Yes this is actually a very old song compared to what I've been up to recently. This isn't even the latest version of this song. The problem is that the sound system in my room turns out to have a smaller response window to the newer systems of this era. My system is a 2004 Logitech LS21 Multimedia Speaker which while a good quality for it's price, is crap quality for mastering.
I came to this realization when I heard one of my songs played on another more advanced system and it was awful. There are issues with harmonics in the higher frequency ranges where my system does not operate which means that there are a multitude of problems compounded during the mastering phase of each song.
I'm hoping to upgrade my system and then do a full remastering of all my songs so that they are not just awful noises polluting the looperman environment. In the meanwhile anything I produce is not eligible for uploading.
I originally opted this track for the electronic section however looperman management changed it to DnB for some reason. I agree that it is too upbeat and fast paced for DnB but I can't argue with the "experts".
Thanks for leaving a comment, It's been a while since I've been on looperman because I've recently found a fatal flaw with my mastering, these songs sound good on the sound system in my room but when played on better systems elsewhere I've found sound errors I could not address in production.
I will be upgrading my audio setup then hopefully I can get some newer tracks on looperman.

I can never seem to find an instrument which makes the sound I want for a written piece. And they always sound really fake and "plastic".
I just stick to samples from the looperman community for now because it's good practice for mastering, effects and composition.
Thanks for the response Danke
