I haven't got a clue what you're talking about. Glitch, IDM, Worlds End Girlfriend, or Nauseous Youth Future. But I do know this is a nice track. Calming and well done. As an Old fart that isn't up on the new styles or anything, I was still able to appreciate and enjoy this track. Very nice.
For some reason this reminds me of being in the head of Donnie Darko. Something like that. I like the bass drum sneaking in. The higher frequency crackles get a little biting in the beginning but blend well later. Might want to adjust the dB or eQ in the beginning. The delay effects work awesome tho!! Definitely shows you put some effort into this. Nice job.
Before I heard this track I wouldn't have had any conception about the elements of 'Glitch'. I probably still don't but what I can say is that this is a very well conceived piece of music..there's a great synchronization about it all, with plenty of breathing space....weird,but I find it very harmonious and relaxing,I was half expecting some humongous sound to suddenly appear...but no it all panned out smoothly.......cool cheers planet
Haha, thanks for the kind words planet ^_______^
After listening to the different effects i've used in this song, it's pretty apparent i was influenced by World's End Girlfriend and Nauseous Youth Future. A lot of the calming, and soothing elements in it are what those two focus on in music as well. Some Glitch and IDM can be harsh, but..I don't think that's my 'thing' when it comes to this particular style. I'm really glad you enjoyed it, though! Thanks greatly for the time and review
I'm finding that I enjoy listening ot this style of music. When your friend adds to it, I hope he doesn't put to much to it. Very nice as it is. Many people hurt their tracks by putting to much in there. Nice trck.
Thank you :)
Yeah, i'm not sure if he's even tried anything yet, since he's been so busy...when and if he does touch it, it might just come out a remix haha. Thanks for the kind words, Blair! Take care ^_____________^
That song scared me a little when the mood changed, in a good way. I think you did a good job of conveying your intended message from the description you gave. Good job.
My Nauseous Youth Future and I Broke My Robot influences have been taking over lately. I was working on a few 'Dark Ambient' tracks, and out of the blue made that while i was listening to a favorite internet radio station and just got motivated to make one right then and right there. I haven't slept since i woke up yesterday, but it's well worth it. Haha! Thanks for the review Soulfull
this is craziness. i like the explosive beggining. but to me one of the instruments sounds a little off. but it falls in to place as it progresses. at first i was like...Ehh..then as i listened on and gave it a chance it turned AWESOME!!!
Actually, it's not my voice. I'd be damned if my voice was that low. Yeah, a few sytrus effects in there, pads are sexy. Sorry you think it's boring, but you can't expect a whole lot of energy from an Ambient song. ;D
it makes me think of lyrics and a way to scream in a glass box till my ears bleed. i think this song has just inspired me for about three new tracks of my own...thanks...very great to have your work of such presence
So vicious, I see that you like the darker side of songs. I do too. You might like one of my songs called deathknell. Check it out, tell me what you think. Pep
When media is used to extrapolate on things, that's when it becomes a true tool of the imagination......this music/audio event for me conjures up the space underneath a microscope from a pollen grains perspective...vast towering machinery over receding hazy perspectives.......very powerful.....cheers planet
"If everyone looked the same- We'd get tired of lookin at each another!
I felt a quote from Groove Armada's- If Everybody Looked the Same song off of their album Vertigo was apt here about that.
It's def different, but when is that a bad thing? I'd say at the mo to check out the now defunct Ming+FS, coz I'm thinkin that you'd seriously dig their stuff. The Drums are dead-on and the crazy Bass give this track flavor (the only thing I'd do different is take them and copy it a few times, adding different effects to the whole patch/channel and then fade them in and out as the track progressed). Course if I were to do that it's stop being a Glitch track. Awesome journey you've taken us on. Thanks for sharing!
Cool vp.........I like this...it's quite ambient in a futuristic way...seems to conjure up visions of machines in dialogue with each other..the ending is great!...................cheers planet
