Hey, Kela. I just found your site and the entire "natural born" EP. I've got to tell you that the track, "This Temple" is fantastic! You should put it up on iTunes for sure! The whole concept of an EP devoted to quite catchy songs about famous murders is, well, really strange. I like strange. :) And, I'm so impressed with your songs and singing. First, you stay on key and I really like the timbre of your voice. Second, you have interesting lyrics, Third, you don't scream, you have really good control over dynamics. Fourth, you really know how to use repetition effectively, not too much, and not too little. Taio Cruz has got the same "feel" for how to craft a good lyric and melody line I think. Fifth, you make funny videos. I'm hoping we'll see more of you on Looperman.
Truly a fine and effortless voice. Almost a classic, really. And I'm not really into this sort of music though I quite like the darker vibe but with the brighter piano chords.
Good flow to the vocals too and I like the variety on 1:20 as the vocals turn groovier and busier.
2:23 you show a good extra "overdrive" edge to your voice and that repeating Jonestown vocal merges well with the other vocal line.
Can't really fault this track so well done and I should check some of your other work.
Really nice track, Kela. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. You have got a great voice and it worked perfectly on that track. Will definitely get it on iTunes. I've got a couple of tacks in development that might be of interest to you as a collab. Need vocals and perhaps some help with lyrics. I'll revisit them and then, if you are interested, will check in with you again to see if you are interested or have time to do something with them.
Great song and I really love your voice. I actually have a podcast on the Jonestown Massacre that has audio of Jim Jones himself. It would make a great addition to have some of his bullshit sermons in the background!? Let me know if you would like it? But more on this track very clean mix and seamless use of loops. Just felt it needed to be a little more dramatic from 2.23, some bigger backing sounds to lift it up before it ends. Thanks for the comments on my song "Our Last Goodbye". Would love to use your voice on tracks if you're interested.
That's a great idea to use some of his sermons, I'm shooting a music video for this song next month and his vocals are actually going to be incorporated in that. As far as using my vocals? Feel free! I would love to work with you. Just let me know what I need to do :). I always listen to this track and feel its missing something as well but I can get carried away and spend way too much time/money on one song because I'm never satisfied. My friends told me to record a song.. edit it once then step back. I wish I didn't take their advice on this after seeing your comment.
Welcome to the party, I'm sure you could do well out here...
Very nice track, your voice has flavour the way you dance with the
notes...Interesting taste...
Wow mate, I take it you're signed to some big label somewheres? You must be with velvet tones like those!! Amazing sound you have going on here, and I cant believe that sound comes from loops of here! This track is sounds just beautiful from start to finish!! Loved it and faved!!
Thank you so much! And no label yet, I have to up my online/nationwide presence. NaturalBornkela(dot)com for more music. But this song is the only one made from looperman loops :)... so far. I'm making a new "looperman loop" beat as we speak lol.
Wow is that your voice ? stunning love the tone in the vocals, I like the beat and the low bass is gritty and fuzzy just the way I like it !
good stuff.

I also checked out your Youtube channel and watched the video of you in the car, which was pretty good fun.
Your concept idea album idea about different killers is an interesting one. I guess it doesn’t have to be celebrating their acts or glorifying them.
Good luck to you and your voice.
