It is such an unmistaken description "the transformation of whispers of doubt into a bold declaration of identity and divine worth". Your lyrics are different than usual but always on the same path of belief and trust in Divine Will. Your artistic style is new to me (it is your second song that I've listened to and I could see this turn) and I think it is quite good as the previous one I knew.
Best wishes for a Happy New Year!

Hey, Anthony, thank you so much for taking the time to listen and for such a thoughtful reflection. Im also glad you noticed the deliberate shift in style - though, in many ways, it echoes the same pattern I followed during my rapping days back in the 2000s, haha. The difference now is the path Im walking: still learning new ways to express the same convictions honestly and faithfully though. Your encouragement truly means more than you know.

Wishing you a blessed and joyful New Year as well. Thank you again for the kindness and support.

Hello Richard - I hope you and yours have had a great Holiday.
You always find a new message to create your music about, even though its connected to the Greater Message. And the message is always relevant. When it comes to letting go of yesterday, many of us struggle. Even the best of us. It truly helps to have music like this to help those wayward souls find their way. Thanks for sharing my friend

I really appreciate it, bruh. You know, they say that whatever your role in life -whether sweeping floors, cleaning sewers, or serving others...do it wholeheartedly, with excellence, and find joy in the season youre in.

big ass smile, woah bruv, i was not expecting that, your vocal is fantastic, afrobeat is fly, the arrangement is really good and the instruments are all sat together perfect, lots of work can be clearly heard Richard, production and sound quality are class on both speaker and Headset. its upbeat and punchy too, 'hands up higher' repetative tracks work well, especially a shorter piece, this is a party track to sing with friends too and it doesn't sound like a worship song, it just says let's party and it just makes me wanna work with you more than ever now, we'd be a good contrast, seriously impressed on Christmas Eve

Thanks so much, brother. I was looking for a way to drop my final piece for 2025 that could also work as a smooth transition into the next season. I tried doing it the old way and got stuck - the vibe just wasnt right. Everything I tried sounded like every other song Id made this year, haha. I honestly gave up at one point, thinking, man, its not gonna happen just accept defeat.

Then, while messing around a few days ago, this came out of nowhere. To be frank, it was created almost out of laziness - it came together really fast, kind of half-written, with no clear, defined theme from start to finish. I guess Im as surprised as anyone.

Really grateful for the support, and Im looking forward to working together.

Hey, man! Im really glad it caught you by surprise in a good way, haha. I was a bit skeptical about uploading it because it didnt sound right when I finished, but something just said, just share it, what could possibly go wrong? haha. It really means a lot that you enjoyed both the vocals and the music. Im thrilled you found it catchy and uplifting! Wishing you happy holidays too :)

Hi Richard, that's an impressive track. I like the uplifting atmosphere... it sounds like a new beginning (something we really need right now). But most of all, I love the sound... so powerful and full. Would you mind sharing how you achieve that rich low-end sound?

Happy Holidays and all the best!

Hi Micky,
Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate you taking the time to listen.

Im just as curious as you, haha. The thing is, I dont really consider myself a producer yet, so Ill simply explain the instruments I used and how I blended them... mostly by ear.

FL Studio (Beat):
Aside from the kick drum, I layered two bass sounds - a retro bass and a slap bass (both from Scaler 2) - along with a slightly freakish Freakstylez KS rhythmic arpeggiator from Dune 3.

Plugins on the kick (in this order):

Soft Clipper
Compression
EQ

Plugins on the bass (in this order):
Saturator
Soft Clipper
Compression
EQ

EQ settings:
Kick: Using Ozone 11 EQ, I cut everything below 20 Hz, boosted around 45 Hz by about +3 dB, and applied a bell cut around 90 Hz at roughly 3 dB. I also rolled off everything above 10 kHz.

Bass: Also using Ozone 11 EQ, I cut below 20 Hz, made a small bell adjustment around 45 Hz (about 3 dB), and boosted around 90 Hz by roughly +3 dB. Highs above 10 kHz were cut as well... essentially treating it opposite to the kick.

All other instruments were high-passed from around 100 Hz upwards (and panned for stereo width).
Vocals were high-passed from roughly 80 Hz upwards.

Vocal tracking and mixing were done in Adobe Audition.

So, between 20 Hz and just over 100 Hz, only the kick, bass, and vocals are present - everything else is cleared out of that range. Other percussion elements were panned slightly off-centre.

Both the kick, retro bass, and slap bass are centred (mono), and I used Fruity Limiter to sidechain both basses to the kick.

Mastering chain:
I applied a gentle boost around 60 Hz (roughly +1 dB) and a bell cut at around 375 Hz (about 1.7 dB).

Hope this makes sense :D

lovely intro, this is a little different arrangement from all out joy, still got plenty goodness tho Richard, and being a song writer myself, i get your feelings in your reply to Dan about when you release a track, i think my work is never good enough all the time too, so your not alone, i think we all have doubts tbf, but Im extremely driven so just carry on like you, the words just come, i have told you before, you are an incredible guy, talented musically and vocally, you have carved a Niche here at LM, you have good friends and supporters, we will tell you if things dont work, i always mention the changes in things you do the change of bass in your vox, etc, but you just seem to hit it each time, sorry about length but I'm just trying to build your confidence, as i have never heard you say, your not sure, as you are always positive bruv :) keep 'em coming

Thanks a lot, brother; I really appreciate this. It means a lot coming from you, especially you noticing the little changes. Its also good to know Im not alone with the crazy doubts haha. I guess all of us with sparkly, bouncy, undefined, and misunderstood colours in our heads have them :D

Please know that Im truly grateful for the support and honesty here at LM, and for people like you who really listen and keep it real. Thanks for the encouragement, bruv
Ill keep them coming.
Godspeed!

Hi Richard
I think we all know the feeling..! I think it is our wandering in our souls and minds, where things are not always obvious...there are hidden things and we live this exploration through music. You are given light and yes you have given this community lots of it. Your music is a tunnel through which strong feelings are delivered to us and then it is your deep thoughts and faith that come with your lyrics. You really do an excellent work with these tools and it is highly appreciated.
I liked your song, it is joyful and so very characteristic of you. Keep 'em coming my friend, I assure you, we like them.
Best wishes, Anthony

RichardShekari replied 17th Dec 2025 - 3 months ago
Thanks so much, Anthony. Honestly. I think we all know that feeling of wandering in the mind and soul when things arent always clear yet. Music just seems to be how we explore those hidden places. Your words about the light and faith in the songs really encourage me. Im glad this one came across as joyful and still very me.

Thanks for listening so closely and for the kind support.

Thanks, brother but honestly, they always sound like a great idea to me before and during production - but once theyre released, I start feeling theyre not quite good enough. So I keep searching for something that truly sticks, something I can really be satisfied with. Thats why I just keep pouring them out. It feels like theres one particular song Im still digging for and maybe once I finally find it, Ill stop. Sick, right? haha.

loved that bouncy intro Mr Shekari, you know how i feel toward you, you are the happiest friendliest person i know in music, your song again shines as you show your devotion, i love to here you truly, your a breathe of fresh air. i don't know whether you altered anything but the vox sound in the pocket on my end headset and speaker.
and as you have said to me before, i would recognise your vocal anywhere bro, keep being you

RichardShekari replied 12th Dec 2025 - 3 months ago
Oh brother, thank you so much for the kindness.
As for the vocal clarity; it might be because I stopped yelling and recording in the yellow, and Im now keeping everything in the green zone. Ive also started recording at night so I dont annoy the neighbours, so I end up speaking more gently, haha.
Plus, Im putting into practice the advice Ive been getting from guys like you on Looperman.

198 Miles away so it was not convenient at all for us to record and mix vocals at my house. So over half of his vocals were done in Audacity by him and then sent back to me to mix amd and master. Ive listened to those songs alot recently (most are posted on The Monder Squadd profile that my brother runs) and i think they sound amazing. Good enough that ive used the same software and technique on 2 of my newer Remixes here on LM and sure enough, the results are very good. Let me know if theres any way i can help you. I have a cloud account that I used to occasionally help other members of the community here, there's some software like synths, and some Sample packs and stuff like that there that i offer 100% free should you want them. Some of it is pretty nice stuff. I understand from experience that making music can be a pretty expensive thing so I wanted to make sure that there was a way resources could be offered to anyone here on LM who needs or wants them. the cost is no issue. As a bonus there are a couple of sample packs that I personally crafted myself, loops and MIDI and stuff like that. It you're interested just let me know and I'll send you the link

Hey Richard, i just wanted to mention that for a laptop with limited RAM, CPU and or storage to manage, try Audacity for vocal mixing. The end result is better than Adobe audition, and its easy to integrate both native and external effects etc. Give it a shot, its 100% free software from the website

RichardShekari replied 12th Dec 2025 - 3 months ago
Oh man, thanks. I used to have Audacity but never realised it was that versatile - I didnt know it could actually be used for proper music production, bruh. Ill try to watch some tutorials, because Im hoping to switch my DAW in 2026
