I intentionally have the beginning of this track a bit quiet for two purposes. One, to provide an audible dynamic to the hook of the track, "I Wanna Change"; second, to give room for the build as the song progresses.

My daughter and I have worked together in the past, but she will not allow me to upload any of her music, being she is singing on it. She has a wonderful voice, but as you may well know, teenagers can be pretty temperamental about those things.

She has already threatened if I continue to request she shares her gift, she will back away from music. So, being that I don't want to discourage her, I honor her wishes :-(

Maybe one day, she will share her voice.

I truly believe in this....discontinue/disassociate yourself from anything which causes you, as a musician, to no longer enjoy creating, listening, or enjoying music.

This track was inspired by a lovely couple who loved each other, but had difficulty in expressing the changes they each needed to make withing themselves in order to maintain the relationship. I wanted to convey not only lyrically, but in the music, the struggle and the desire they both felt....a drastic "change".

Although I been a member of Looperman since 2007, I primarily used the site to find a particular sound I was looking for. It's been just recently that I uploaded my music, and "Wow" it's been a blast. It is really uplifting to find a music community that support one another.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, Planet. When my father passed, there was a huge hole in my life, but thank the Lord there is a vehicle, called music, we can use to get us through the void.

Bear, my friend, thank you so much for your kind words. You are a phenomenal musician in your own right.

Just to let you know, a couple of weeks ago, I visited your loops and found "drums-Rock Kit 105bpm". This one loop started my journey to compose a track entitled "Do You See Their Faces". It is a track about our homeless and what we can do to assist them. Most of the loops on this track are from your loop repertoire. I am very excited about it and will share it with you soon.
