Wow! This takes me back to the Quiet Storm on midnight radio in Detroit. Captures your heart thinking about that teenage love and heartache. Great job! Want to use it as backdrop to my husband's menswear custom design video. Will eventually be on www.michaeliji.com when website is completed. Kudos!!!
Thank you nybbas23 for this track. Working on my website and setting some of my poetry to music. Haven't moved to my own domain yet but in a few days you will find my poem: 'Don't know what to feel' set to your 8bit beat at www.alijioma.wixsite.com/jessvaughn. Appreciating what you do! Hope you'll like what I did with it. ;-)
Rain drops on a metal roof. Tin house on the poor side of town. Newspapers covering the windows for curtains. Cold outside. The smells of collard greens and cornbread cooking, and the dryer is on steaming up the only window you can see out of - facing the parking lot. The environment looks like nothing and seems like life is going nowhere, but with this music playing and good food coming to the belly, it feels like hope... and right now, everything is just fine.
I am moved by the saxophone that hits me in the heart. I like smooth jazz and the kind of melody that lets you work things out in your mind. Thank you for your loop. I intend to put it against my poetry and spoken word. Website in progress, but I'll visit you again to listen to all your contributions.
