Oh, I doubt that- the signs that say "welcome to..." and "come back real soon!" are nailed to the same post. We do have a Dollar General, but I think the DG folks would put a store on the moon if they could figure out how.
We are pretty close to Mobile, though; my wife likes to go shopping there, so it's all good.
Thanks again (again). That extra bright-and-punchy came from using the Pushtec 5 by Leftover Lasagne (Looperman has a link at the home page) on your track- two instances, one using the "Body" preset, one using the "Character" preset- and some reverb courtesy of Kjaerhaus Audio's Classic Reverb, preset "Phil's Toms" (though I'm pretty sure I tweaked that a little).
Anyway, I downloaded a couple others of your loops, and I'm sure I'll find some good use for them. If you're ever in Escatawpa, Mississippi (god knows why you'd be here if you're not from here, just sayin'), I'll buy you a beer (or whatever).
Thanks, I really do think your loop added that something extra that just juices the song. I should add that I used your loop at the original 75bpm, but the song seemed a little draggy at that speed, so I increased it to 80bpm in Reaper, which you can do without changing the song's pitch. That extra 5bpm did the trick...
You also EQ'd it up to make it brighter and punchier, and it sounds fantastic on your track. So much so that I originally did not recognize it as my own work. So, bravo!
(I had to cut it up a little, and processed it some with some eq, delay and chorus; it worked great for the atmosphere of the song, I think- begins the song for a beat, then comes in again around 3:41)
