Check out the new version...Mixed the vocals in better...I didn't add effects because I think the vocals sound nice as they are. The first version was a "rough" version. Is it intentional that the vocals drown at some point? The thing is, if a track has vocals, that is what the listener will focus on. And if they have to struggle to hear it, they will get frustrated. So I would pay more attention to the vocal mixing. Also would suit the track nicely to add some effects on the vocals here and there.
The vox don't always match the key of the background, you could try playing around with pitching.
