The scholar? Hardly. Have you tried putting any kind of pitch correcting on your vocals? This is why people are downloading and not using. It's a whiny and sounds off pitch. If auto tune is put on it, it jumps everywhere trying to correct because the pitch if the vocals aren't consistent but sloping. You act crappy like constructive criticism isn't the post important thing musicians could have. Here, you win. I won't help you at all like everyone else here. Congrats, you win. It's common knowledge that posture is very important when doing any kind of vocal work. If I tell you it's raining out you gonna listen since I'm not a weather man? If your singing sounds whiny it's the posture and larynx. It is common knowledge, you don't need to be a teacher to understand posture is very important when it comes to singing. You don't have to believe me, it's OK. Also, how does being mean make me a hipocrit. You were mean to people so I became mean back. That doesn't make me a hipocrit... That makes me spiteful. I produce for a handful of big artists. Youre right im not a singing teacher, however I am a producer and music teacher. You're mad because you were being mean to others and I was mean back to you. Also, you dont have to be a teacher to teach others. How many big producers do you know that are also music teachers? As I said, fix your posture and it will help with the whine when singing.

Try adjusting your larynx. I think you sing good but you need to maybe adjust your posture when you sing. I dont think you need to "try harder" I think you need to adjust your posture when you sing.

I can do something with your vocals but performance is everything. Are you singing to a metronome or anything. Its a royal pain in the ass to correct timing on vocals
DJPrestige, Nice work man. My only advice would be to tuck those vocals way way way back in the mix. Try to mask them with anything and everything you can. That is truly the only way to get "Pro" results. :)
tman101983 I never said anything that was as mean. Directing musicians and producers towards getting the music, vocals or mix with proper dress up is not construed as mean! You're only twisting my words. You find everything wrong. And there's a lot that anyone can do to my best vocals here. You expect me to put up melodyne, tempo stretching and pasting the vocals to a beat of 4/4 as if I should be the producer! It's best to leave it to the producer if he or she is a experienced pro!
You must have meant to say "Thank you for working with my vocals for free". Learn to do the work yourself if you want it done a certain way. Stop singing into a 35$ mic and yelling orders to everyone on looperman to fix your stuff better. Him making a song for you isnt an insult. You are the insult.
Wow.... Hit a note without pitch correction and ill do everything you ask. How about that. You must be new to music. Ya know that beginning stage when you think you are more special then others, and you're the greatest. What comes next will be critically analyzing yourself to others....just remember don't be as hard on yourself as you were everyone else. If you want to be produced by a "real professional" that's actually worth your time, I would recommend saving up your money for a while and then going to sonymusic website. I recommend you get a better mic before submitting a demo. Every here that saying...You can polish a terd but its still a terd. You want professional vocals done for free, but wont even spend the money on a decent mic. SMH

You should remove any effects and processing. When you add delay and processing to vocals that aren't clean its smearing the imperfections all over the acapella.
You should post before you put anything on the vocals. They need to be cleaned in a major way. When you put delay or reverb you are taking all your room reverb, distortion, harsh frequencies, and just smearing them all over the place. I could work with this dry but like this is impossible to get clean enough to spend the time with it. Can you post dry and make sure your mic isnt clipping when you record. You want green and yellow, not red :)
Dont clip your vocals before they are cleaned. You are bringing the volume up of any imperfections. I would leave it natural without processing for whomever produces with it. If you arent using processing then check for clipping on mic levels
