Oohh! My man, your sound rocks, gonna take this sound an brilliant voice sample an do some work on it. Meantime bring on some more of your exclusive vocals to do some work on, nice one brother...
I like you flow!!!
I'm dj dovic, i come from to Reunion island!!
If it's possible, i would like to you make some vocals sample for me in order to introduce it in my dancehall ragga mix!!
Again, I like the idea tremendously. Regarding microphones, not sure what you're using, but if you don't hookup with an engineer, get a very expensive mic. I know money is often the challenge, but the mic is the center of your music universe. And if you don't have a pop filter, try to get one also.
Stay in touch, if I can give any advice just let me know. Hope you don't mind my honesty, I figure, we can all learn from each other. Respect.
I LOVE your concept, I too fight to bring the ethnicties and races together, in each group there are bigots! Don't worry, things will change.
Now, regarding the mix quality, I'd focus on improving the hi ends and low ends, right now the mix is very flat. I would also play with the panning more, maybe the "you can do" panned left and the "you can do it" panned right.
Also, consider working with reverb and delay on parts like: "fight".
If you don't have major budget or software try an inexpensive program. I know it's hard to work a job for cash, take care of family, learn software, write songs, so consider hooking up with someone who is an engineer, and split some of your costs, etc.
But overall, the song has GREAT potential, the idea is very hot, just need to tweak it and keep what works and drop what doesn't.
