I used your fantastic loop to make my first rap song, which is here:

I used it to when I wanted to make a bit of an ominous feeling - it worked really well.
It’s a real gift from you and all the others who generously make and share music, which allows someone like me, with no prior experience, to make my own music, when otherwise the obstacles would be huge.

What key/scale is this in? I was thinking G Minor but the F# throws me off?

I don't know musical notation and can't tell you, it's just composed by ears. Is it some kind of dissonance that you hear?
