Groovy Underground Breaks
My name is Louis, and I create electronic music. My sound is heavily influenced by the 90's, drawing inspiration from oldschool rave, big beat, jungle, and hip-hop.
Unlike most producers, I don’t use a DAW. Instead, I’ve developed my own software to record, generate, manipulate, and arrange sounds, allowing me to work in a fully custom-built workflow.
My sound is rooted in authentic 90's sampler (Akai S- series) sound libraries. The gritty, punchy, low-bit character of these samples is central to my productions.
I combine vintage sample culture with self-built technology to create a sound that is both nostalgic and modern.
I’m open to adjusting any loop if you like the vibe but want changes, and feel free to contact me anytime for custom samples with specific sounds or influences.

I’ve been listening to house and electronic music since I was young, and it has always been a big inspiration in my sound. At the same time, my taste in music is very broad , ranging from rock, dance, and hip hop to classical and beyond. I enjoy many different styles,
Too many classics to choose from.
Early house and rave culture of the late ’80s and ’90s. Oldschool hip hop sampling, and the raw energy of early club music. I’m also influenced by rock, classical music and a wide range of genres, which all shape my sound in different ways.
Raw, sample-driven (dream) House with 90s energy, dusty vinyl textures, and vintage hardware grooves.
In my other life, I’m a married father of three daughters and I work in healthcare, caring for people with disabilities.
