I am Chace (Not Chase with a S) Perez, an artist from Springer, Oklahoma and now residing in Houston, Texas where I aim to go to college and share my art throughout the world.
I am a self-taught music studio producer, often finding myself in hobbies of remixing, creating, or rapping on my own beats.
I went by many names such as Foe Trey, Two-Three and now Chace Live. I am not your typical rapper/producer, I do have many flows and unique ways of making beats such as combining different genres. I do not specialize in one genre as I create pop, rock, country, and many others.
I play a piano since I was young and it really helps with my MIDI ideas as the MIDI is too a keyboard with pads. I played on a drum kit for a while before focusing on producing beats on musical software.
I use a multimedia type of software to work on my beats such as going to FL Studio, Soundtrap, Bandlab, and LMMS. I use all four for different purposes and for different designs for sound.
I use a MIDI keyboard/pad, mixing with my mouse, and then having a high quality microphone for my singing.
I am listening to DJ Quik. He is a great pioneer in combining beats and genres. A great rapper too not just a DJ. He can rap fast and make funky beats at the same time.
First it would be 'All Eyez On Me' because that album captures Tupac's journey in the industry.
Second, I love 'Safe & Sound', it's balanced and has many great hits!
Third, I love 'Doggy Style' just because it has Snoop Dogg in it and has that damn G-Funk in it.
The people and artists that influenced me into music was first Polo G and then 2Pac before I tried it myself. Before all the rap, I was into pop and country, loving the melodies and vocals.
It sounds a bit old school but with flavor. I am expanding in different rap subgenres such as modern, rnbass, and etc. It's more good vibes than hardcore, aggressive rap.
I create art pieces of the characters I make. I am a comic artist in my spare time, doodling, finishing, shading, and/or creating ideas for the stories I'm making.
