I make beats sometimes. Occasionally they're good, but most of the time they aren't. That's to be expected of a high school student I guess.
I play the violin and the piano.
Soundtrap. I'm broke, so I can't use a real DAW.
I was gifted an MPK Mini keyboard by a friend of mine, so I use that for most of my beats.
Currently, I've really been digging Sampha, a British singer who you might know from his feature on Kanye West's song Saint Pablo. He has a great voice.
(Not in any particular order) After Hours by The Weeknd, Circles by Mac Miller, The Money Store by Death Grips, Pony by Rex Orange County, 4 Your Eyez Only by J. Cole, Blond by Frank Ocean, good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar, Take Care by Drake, Rodeo by Travis Scott and Melt My Eyez See Your Future by Denzel Curry.
I couldn't really pinpoint it. I take influence from wide variety of artists/bands, ranging from Alice in Chains to Earl Sweatshirt. As for my favorite artists, I'd have to say The Weeknd, Mac Miller, Joey Bada$$ and Kanye.
Very unprofessionally made trap. If (any big-name producer) made all of their beats in a rush.
