My Name Is John. I'm overcoming my imposter syndrome in this music producer world because I'm an old-school Metalhead who fell in love with making electronic-based beats and songs of various genres. I'm very, very slow at making beats. So if you want to collaborate with someone who churns them out, I'm not your man. I don't have Ableton Live yet, but I will someday soon. I refused to use Pro-Tools on principle.
Every Daw does something unique and special. I sometimes use multiple at once and then port into the DAW that has the best going on for each of the projects. It also makes it incredibly easy to collaborate with most people, (Sans the lack of Abelton) At the end of the day, this stuff is just fun and fascinating for me.
