I'm here if you need acoustic drums for your track. I listen to all sorts of music and want to play and experiment with weird things.
Drums (acoustic drumset, percussive instruments)
Mainly use Audacity for recording and editing samples. For larger projects where I need more control I use LMMS or Ardour.
I use an Audio-Technica AT2020usb+ mic. Hoping to upgrade soon but money is limited when you're drumming all the time and freelancing instead of getting a real job, so hey, it is what it is.
Dr Dre / The Game / Sam Wilkes / Louis Cole / RHCP / Timber Timbre
WILKES by Sam Wilkes / TIME by Louis Cole / AQUEMINI by Outkast / Reunion by Benny Golson / 2001 by Dr. Dre / Blue Carpet Treatment by Snoop Dogg / pretty much any album by The Cinematic Orchestra / Enter the Wu-Tang by Wu-Tang Clan / Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Stadium Arcadium; and a lot, lot, lot, lotlotlot more.
Louis Cole, Jojo Mayer, Thomas Pridgen, Dave Grohl, Tony Williams, Jack White, Anderson Paak, Nick Mason, Bernard "Pretty" Purdie, Steve Gadd
Weird, experimental, but always with a jazzy / funky element - sometimes a big one, sometimes a small one. I try to mix influences from hip-hop drumming with contemporary jazz drums and add a little blast beats to it every now and then.
I'm a freelancer who does digital marketing (mainly copywriting for tech companies - websites, blog articles, emails, ebooks and such).
