I'm an inspiring music writer and producer who likes to work but mostly procrastinate, even if there is a deadline to meet. When I'm not at my computer writing music you can probably find me watching YouTube or just generally lazing about. I don't do sports, I can't run for 20 seconds without getting very out of breath and I barely leave the house other than to go to school every day.
I mainly play piano but I have recently been teaching myself a bit of guitar and ukulele. I have a Grade 1 in violin which I got a while back but haven't really played since.
I used to use GarageBand but was overjoyed when my parents bought me Logic Pro X and that's what I've been using ever since. I know it's not the best for dubstep type music but I'm currently saving up for Xfer's Serum for which I am extremely excited!
I use an Akai Professional Synthstation 49 keyboard for MIDI instruments but I also sometimes use my Neewer microphone to record vocals, guitar, etc.
Currently (April 2018) my favourite piece of music is probably either 'Give It Up' by Knife Party, 'Uprising' by Teminite or 'Nasty' by Datsik & Virtual Riot.
I don't really know a lot of albums as I prefer to listen to individual pieces of music compiled onto my 'favourites' playlist. However, if I had to pick a favourite, it would probably be Teminite's album 'Uprising'.
I'm influenced by various artists such as Teminite, Panda Eyes and Knife Party. Although I'm not a huge fan of most his music, I like to think that Skrillex also helped me to properly get into creating dubstep music.
I would say that my music varies quite a bit although I think I have been shifting more to the sound of some of Knife Party's music such as 'Bonfire' and 'Give It Up' with things like reggae-esque off-beat guitar strums and melodies with the growl bass.
I'm currently in my first year of Sixth-form (11th Grade) and I'm looking to do music technology at university. Outside of school I really only make music to be honest. Sometimes I play/watch snooker.
