Hi I am a singer saxophonist in a funk soul and disco band.Now 28 and a mother of 2 i would like to take a back seat and seriously write with the intention of pitching my music to other artists.Maybe get a few publishing deals as a songwriter. I can't produce for toffee, this is a new venture really i need a co writing producer partner for music so i can focus on melody and lyrics.

At the moment have been listening to a lot of Reggaeton and dancehall as i love syncopated rhythms i like to write to them as you get to explore rhymes within rhymes in a line etc. Things i am always listening to include,Skindred,Pearl Jam,Soundgarden,Hendrix,Zeppelin,Bowie,Sublime, Rage against the mahcine,Stevie Wonder, Jackson 5.( i have an eclectic taste)

My influences aren't all that down with the kids, though i have been having a stab at writing some catchy tunes as the charts seem to be very ##### driven at the moment. My personal songs that i play at jam nights tend to be quite folksy/indie and have conscious lyrics. Vocally i love Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin,The Noisettes,Emili Sande Amy Winehouse,Jessie J,Paloma Faith.Ella Eyre.

wouldn't like to judge it haha but i am going for the bringing soul back into pop vibe like Paloma Faith, Meghan Trainor, Amy Winehouse,Duffy
As well as "dutty'er" tracks to keep up with the new age twerks!
