Hi there im a guinea pig or domestic guinea pig, also known as cavy or domestic cavy, im a species of rodent belonging to the family Caviidae and the genus Cavia. Despite my common name, guinea pig im not native to Guinea, nor am i biologically related to pigs, and the origin of my name is still unclear.
