THat's beautiful! Everything fits together perfectly. When I get the chance, I really listen to Jazz....(not very often) furthermore, It has so many different moods
Sorry, but I had to comment twice. This is a masterpiece. This sound has put me into a very creative, positive, grateful mood! It takes a lot it put me in that mode and you've done it instantly!
Very commercial sounding indeed! I use Fl Studio 9 and have just started into arranging pieces myself. It is a whole new world and it sure is fun to create when you have a nice sound to work with. Good Job!
First off, the guitar playing is excellent! However, I think that if there was more space in between all those notes, it would give the listener more direction(if that makes sense). Hearing the background bass, drums etc... being the same for a while is probably the cause. I just think that if there were more pauses in between and breakdowns, instead of just constant playing, it would be far more interesting. All said though, you can definetely play the guitar man. I wish I had your skill!
G,
Thanks for the compliments and suggestions. Much appreciated. I agree the arrangement needs to be developed further. This project started out as an experiment to test various engineering techniques and process. I may well focus on an arrangement and perhaps a lyric at some point. Right now I hope to bring the drums up a bit and I continue to try everything I can to find a more defined bass. I'll try to drop you a line should I eventually work up a proper arrangement. Till then Thank you for the kind words of encouragement, taking the time to listen and making the effort to comment. I am inspired. Voltage
Thats all I can say. You did an amazing job of this song...really filled with emotion. Thats what music is all about my friend. The best I've heard in a while! You've definetely got talent!
I agree with spyzuk there a little on the bowie style. I thought this song was very well done; especially with your health in mind. There's always going to be "things you could have done" but never mind that, for its raw talent, I give it a 10 dude!
The reason I dubbed this "matrix" is because this is the picture I found in my mind when I listened to this. You know the part where they were doing martial arts and they were doing it really fast and orchestrated, well thats exactly what im seeing here. Awesome sound s, I really liked it a lot!
I really like the vibe behind this track. It has a lot of potential. Its almost as if the lyrics were taken out of an actual song. Again great job.... I gonna save this one.
After the 20 second mark you come in with this little riff and you choke the notes; it sounds awesome. Man the things I could do with that sound. What kind of gear you got goin on?
I actually do "Amazing Grace" to "House of the rising Sun". And Do the first and last verses Of House with a couple of changes in the words. Plus a couple of verses I've written.
I love the power of this one....really dig this one!!!!! Nice raunchy guitar riff going along with this. Sophisticated sound... and a somewhat futuristic sound. Great job!
Hey man; I would love to have that kind of backing to just lay some cool ryhthym /lead guitar to. I have to start looking for some good software. Good backing gives you such possibilities!!!
