I'd probably go with cinematic as the genre for this track, but ambient is fine as well. Very enjoyable track to listen to and a definite fav.

Thanks John for the fav and download! I always enjoy experimenting with different kinds of tracks, which can have hit and miss results. So it's always reassuring when other people are feelin it, glad you enjoyed the track
I also updated it just now in an attempt to make the melody slightly softer, i think it sounds a little more natural this way

I was at that party and you should have seen the chick I was there with. A great night of mead and psychedelics, mixed with the most wonderful debaucheries in preparation for the morning battle with the evil enemy. May his head find rest upon my spear.

I like the track.

Hi John,
Your review actually reminds me of the album done by Test Dept. in the late 80's titled, "Gododdin" with the Welsh group Brith Gof. Gododdin was a Celtic poem which basically was the same as 300. A small group of Celts partying all night before doing their suicide attack against invaders outnumbering them 20:1. Strange how certain sounds can stir genetic memories, aye? Thanks for both the review and favorite. Means a lot my friend!

You're one of those artists that's gonna be responsible for making me a big fan of this genre.

Very much enjoyed the piece, my friend, it is truly one of the best hardcore pieces I have heard on the loop.

Thanks for the review, glad you like it!

But I must say, I don't do hardcore, haha!
This is a terror(core) track, with some speedcore elements. Hardcore is a softer and slower type of music:)
