I really really like this, very good work here! The chosen piano chords is what got me right away. I also like the part where you make the chords echo in each side of my head. Perfect choice of drum for this, and I like that part where the beat skips a bit before the break in the music. Not initially a fan of the sound of the break until the other sound swells in with it, and it surprisingly goes well with the piano chords. I like how you chose to change the pace up by adding the break and taking away the drums at certain times. Changing the pace is very important to keep a listener engaged!
Wow, this is so cool Steve! Wow!!! What a good idea to mash these two pellas up, and then the music you made is so awesome for this setting! Very sensual! K19 sounding smooth as always if you know what I mean ;) Wow, wow, wow- you placed everything perfectly Steve!!
I was just thinking today how not many people used the Animal pella, and that happens to be one of my favorites (or at the least the songs made out of them- not a big fan of my own voice raw ick).
Is this on Soundcloud too? I'd like to share it on my Guest Remixes page- it's so good!!
Hi JJ. Wow, thank you so much for the love and comment. I'm so glad that you like the song. I wasn't sure about it at first but I just kept working on the track, and before I knew it, there it was.
Sometimes I don't even know how I come up with these things, I guess it's the same how you come up with all those great pellas. :P :) Nah, the track is not on Soundcloud but you can use the track in any way, fashion and form.
Again, I wanna thank you for being one of my inspirations. I'll chat with you later. Take care. Peace :D
Even in spanish (which I barely understand despite working a while as a live-in caretaker at an orphanage in Mexico), your voice sounds fantastic! The music is nice and relaxing. Very good work here!
Aww, I'm so undeserving of such nice praise! Thank you very much! Do we follow eachother on Soundcloud, I can't remember?
I am very glad to hear you enjoyed those tracks- especially Dark Corner as that one is a bit older and I feel I messed it up with too many effects, though enjoyed the vocal challenges it presented.
Very nice to meet you, look forward to exploring your work more!
Thank you big time from the bottom of my heart.
I, like your self only do this as a hobby. To create music is such a tremendous
release ! I am really appreciative of your kind comment.
You Have amazing talent ! i was blown away in particular with your song
DARK CORNER (Delusional Method/JJWeekz) and I also loved SPACE VOYAGE (Chromdom/JJWeekz)....
DacChopDocta, dude, you are a pro!! The music is hella amazing, and of course you can't go wrong with K19!! Another hot mix!!! You rule in the hiphop/rap genre for sure!!
What a hot mix, great vocals, good instincts on the music to pair with it and how to put it all together. WOWSER!! Good job guys! This needs to be playing in all the clubs!!
I love the melody of this! I might like to hear the piano with some echo or depth to it, as it sounds a bit sharp to me (I don't play instruments so have no clue what I'm talking about). I also wonder how this melody would sound with a different instrument in parts.
The rap is awesome!! Damn. I enjoy the rap genre, but find there are a lot of "wanna-bes" out there who really aren't that good. Your delivery is PERFECT, as though you popped out of the womb with a mic in hand spitting verses and blood!!!
haha, the umbilical cord was actually my mic cord :) thanks though, that means a lot. this song i did a long time ago and i plan on redoing it anyways, just because i know more about mixing music now.
On a musical note, this goes in the category of being some of best works here on Looperman!! Could easily hear this in a movie, and what a movie that would be!!
I saw on your profile that you enjoy movies. I am married to a film major, so also have a huge interest in this as well. Have you made a movie featuring your music yet? You should! I'm sure you know it's not that hard. A good crew, a decent story, and a lot of creativity is all you need. I'd say you have most of that. Sometimes the stories of movies are based on the writer's very own struggles. The rest is how it is presented to the audience. If you can create music that speaks so deeply to the listener, how much more can you do with visuals?!
Wow, this is beautiful. How can life so close to death sounds so beautiful....maybe it truly seems so when we are on that brink. I'd like to think eventually we discover that life here can also be just as lovely. I hope you find that lovely place here in the time left. The adventures of death will come anyway, so I'm personally trying to make the most of this temporary thing called life while I have it.
What can I say- your music has a depth to it that's hard to find nowadays. A sound that takes me back hundreds and hundreds of years when cultures weren't as modernized as they are now.
There's a radio station in my area- not sure where all this station is broadcast- but its called Echos led by John Diliberto, and they play music like this with no words and pristine quality. Their goal is to bring the world together through music, integrating sounds from all over. I could easily hear this being played on that station, which happens to be my favorite radio program! Unfortunately, this station plays at a late hour in the night so I generally miss it, but this is the kind of music that makes me stop whatever I'm doing and simply....listen. It feeds the soul in a way very few genres of sound can- and certainly nothing I make! You are very talented!!
first my appreciation about such deep insight I can underestand from your comment , & then I should thank you cause your comment made me to search John Diliberto & found a new subject for listening to music & learn more about music.and beside I should say that as you may know any local radio stations in this dictatorship country(where I've born & still living )are illegal & all mass media are governmental & Islamic blind eyes,& Islamic stupid mind & Islamic indistinct ear could never accept any local Radio station like that & you helped me learn more by presenting some new musician to me . & dear JJWEEKZ,I have seen such in my life that Art & Artists & between the artists especially Musicians, are the humans who always have the Best goals in the world ,even better than religion(for example).& also about such flootes I'm agree with you & there's some intial mood in afro flutes or also Zen+native american flutes whch I love it . and althought you may laugh to know I've never seen from near neither of such flutes which you heared in both tracks or some of the other Instruments too(like saxophone) althought I've tried to compsed by all these Instruments in various trials, but when I was trying to begin music in about 20years ago even learning or teaching music was forbidden & illegal in Iran & it's just 15years that music is not illegal after Islamic ##### gvernment! ! !.
tank you JJWEEKZ for all your kind words .best wishes & greatest regards .__Behnam.
My reviews aren't anywhere close to yours as far as depth goes. I don't make music, just vocals, so it is hard for me to know what all the details are about. But as a lover of sound, I find this track very delightful!!! There is something deep and ancient about this, like it reaches into my soul and touches the roots therein.
so glad to see one most tallented female vocals in looperman here in my page to commenting on any of my music trials & dear JJWEEKZ first of all I should have a great appreciation cause you've been taking time to listen to & commenting on this Guitar & afro flutes trial & ofcourse never it's not needed to have any musical analysis about my trials, lady .you've respected to me when you've describe about your feeling & your deep & wothwhile perception by such words about what you heared & it would be honuored to me & I should appreciate you . so again appreciatin JJWEEKZ for your nice perception & commenting on my trial .regards lady & best wishes .___Behnam.
As Srbrown7 said, the timing is spot on for sure!! Music is awesome!! At first, I was thrown off by the pella pitch change- hoping the whole song wasn't like this as some do- but was pleasantly surprised to find you used this as only an element with the other parts. Very creative and sexy version!!
Thanks i'm glad you enjoyed it and your comments meant a lot ! I am just working on a version of space voyage at the moment and when its done i'll post it,
LOVE IT! I really like your music and am honored you slipped some of my pella in, how cool! I will say I feel like the volume levels should have been turned down a bit on the pella because it peaks when I've barely got my computer volume on. But that's an easy fix! The music on this is beyond beautiful!!!
