I love the melody of this! I might like to hear the piano with some echo or depth to it, as it sounds a bit sharp to me (I don't play instruments so have no clue what I'm talking about). I also wonder how this melody would sound with a different instrument in parts.
The rap is awesome!! Damn. I enjoy the rap genre, but find there are a lot of "wanna-bes" out there who really aren't that good. Your delivery is PERFECT, as though you popped out of the womb with a mic in hand spitting verses and blood!!!
haha, the umbilical cord was actually my mic cord :) thanks though, that means a lot. this song i did a long time ago and i plan on redoing it anyways, just because i know more about mixing music now.

I saw on your profile that you enjoy movies. I am married to a film major, so also have a huge interest in this as well. Have you made a movie featuring your music yet? You should! I'm sure you know it's not that hard. A good crew, a decent story, and a lot of creativity is all you need. I'd say you have most of that. Sometimes the stories of movies are based on the writer's very own struggles. The rest is how it is presented to the audience. If you can create music that speaks so deeply to the listener, how much more can you do with visuals?!
Wow, this is beautiful. How can life so close to death sounds so beautiful....maybe it truly seems so when we are on that brink. I'd like to think eventually we discover that life here can also be just as lovely. I hope you find that lovely place here in the time left. LOVE IT! I really like your music and am honored you slipped some of my pella in, how cool! I will say I feel like the volume levels should have been turned down a bit on the pella because it peaks when I've barely got my computer volume on. But that's an easy fix! The music on this is beyond beautiful!!!
