First real DnB song I've made, with all the elements attached. I've done a few bits and pieces, but never put a whole DnB track together. Plus I've been listening to DnB for a decade, and been producing for 6 years now. So I know how it should sound, and I know how to get that sound, that's all. : )
Thanks for taking the time, did you get my e-mail by the way?
Not my cup of d'n'b (and imo the track has some "mainstream" notes), but I must admit the quality is high! I really like the fat separateness of the sub bass, drum line and synth/acapella.
I'm glad you liked the guitar.Again,I don't read music,I just go on feeling, for better or worse so my inspiration came from the loops,I had no preconceived ideas.I need to learn how to make guitar loops that work,I would love to share. Thanks for helping make the song, let's do another.

Damn these guitars catched me up (gone to check the other stuff from these guys).
Very nice job at mixing and editing everything to sound in a consonance.
Damn it's one of the best tracks I've heard here!!! The atmopshere is so f-------g nice and I feel something from the old glory days.
Great job.
The only thing I dislike is two short midi-notes between long ones in the reese bass that sound a bit clowny.
You have made a very nice job with composing all the stuff and mixing!
In the same time I think you should make some variations in the beat/melody/track structure from time to time to maintain the interest of listener.
two years later i reply lol... I appreciate your feedback HMNN, I have always Loved your loops and music. I added another track if you want to check it out.
Hey, the track has a big potential, cool bass and synth work! IMO everything has too much reverberation, kick and snare are blurred and placed somewhere far away from the listener (unlike hats)
It seems somewhere along the line I always get something wrong. And for the life of me I can never tell whether or not the snare is far enough forward in the mix.
What I need is a completely accurate audio to visual instrument placer that does most of my job for me. :p
Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad to hear that... I've since made this portion more prominent (by 40 seconds) as I also like that change-up, also tweaked pitches end to end so the orchestral and bass loops are more tied together.
+1 to Travis.
I just cant understand why some people think such a horrible overgained sound is OK.

The problem isn't in distortion (as it's a VERY commonly used effect on the bass in d'n'b), it is in the track volume levels. Also you shouldn't use any distortion on the master channel.
KK thanks for your thoughts as ive said below im very new to Drum and Bass -- Im more used to playing heavy metal guitar so i may have used way too much distortion. Again sorry!!
Damn, there are some very nice ideas!
But some thing in master channel (I guess reverb) drastically kills the quality, making your track sounds VERY flat.
Also you should make every part fit the track bpm, repeating holes in the beat break dynamics.
At least it definitely needs to be speeded up. You should also try to clean (or to mix correctly) the brake as it has much distortion and artefacts in highs.
I think you should finish it, it has clean break (excluding
vinyl crackle) with big potential and nice scary atmos/fxes . But don't forget to speed it up (sounds like breakbeat now, not d'n'b) and add more solid sub-bass.

And it's quality/pure d'n'b elements show it's definitely not the first attempt in the style:-)
