I think you have had a bit of creative improvising with you software here. You have the base ideas for a good few songs in this one tune. Time to pick one hookline and develop the song around that one idea. I improvise alot, and I always find out of just letting go a great riff or melody emerges. Hope this helps. Cheers Slap...
Well if this is your first track it's a bloody good start buddy. It sounds fantastic! I'm loving the groove and vocal drops, that bassline is infectious. Cheers Slap...
I'm loving this well trippy song, great stereo effect on the vocals ( well spooky) love the fender rhoades sound on the keys and that guitar is well cool and the drums, well funky.. Cheers Slap...
Yeah I really loved the tribal sound of the beat on this... I ended up combining a few drum/bass tracks to get that sound. Can't remember where I got the loops from, maybe here lol. Thanks for listening Slap, glad ya liked it :) Lisa
Real good start bro, I could'nt help in noticing that guitar your holding in your picture, it looks like a Gibson Les Paul Custom! Next track you do make sure you put that on it, that's one hell of a guitar. Cheers Slap...
Dig your song Man! Nice to hear a few of my loops thrown in ( I hope you enjoy them). Let me know when you upload some new tracks, and I will come back and review them gladly, cheers Slap...
One piano, one musician, one heart, one soul, one true talent, this brought my life to a stand still, I paused in a frantic day and enjoyed musical beauty. Such a amazing ability to touch someone with music, that's the gift, I hope more people listen to this track and are captured by it's depth. Cheers Slap...
Straight from the heart and born from frustration. This is a REAL song because of what you have said in it and I heard your message. Chin up and hold tight to your dream, cheers Slap...
Respect for the song writing buddy! I would'nt worry about the vocal! It's honest and from the heart, it floats my boat,. we need more musicians on this site, so welcome aboard Spacemanjones, and when your spaceship comes in keep a space for me. Cheers Slap... P.s love that harmonica!!!
Love the sound of this and the story is great. I'm really liking those trombones, such a unique sound. I'm going to check out the rest of your stuff, thanks for the reviews. Cheers Slap...
I tend to play around with intervals a lot to see what sorta flavor I can add with the horn. I've got some interesting ideas brewing for my next track, so check back every once in a while. It's gunna be a bit before I get it done, due to the busy schedules of myself and the people I want on it, but it's a brewin'.
Nice melody and lyrics, it's great that this site is attracting more singer song writers. Drop by my page and give" we buy them still" a listen, as a fellow Beatles fan I feel you will dig it. Cheers Slap...
