Well, unfortunately Ed wasn't involved in this one and also I would hardly talk about influences, but I'm sure the song would have been much better if he was involved. Can't tell you much about his situation, but he's going through some unexpected commitments in his recent life, so the music is a bit sidelined at the moment but I think he's on a gradual comeback...In fact we even have a new collab which will be uploaded here on Loopey in the near future..:) And now about the bass...there are indeed some sections without it and in some is more underneath. Perhaps you can hear it a bit more in following sections : 3:43- 4:38 / 6:29-7:09 / 7:24-8:35 /.....

Quick mix entertaining myself before work, I think I'm going to revisit it and possibly add some length to it. Sometimes we just need a good jam session to get a break from the troubles of the real world. I like that nick name :D Caught my attention on your tune there earlier. Ive been making some loops for this community and been very impressed with the quality of the tracks people create with them. On facebook I've been involved in a group teaching others to play, soon I'll be using some of your great blues loops to teach about digital music, loops and composing around them. Always a pleasure Danke, handshake, guess I'll call myself Slider ;) Don't you play bass too? Bet you never tried a 2 string bass, it's a bit different!

hey Danke, are you talking about the band Morphine? it's one of my favorite band too! it's incredible how Mark sandman is playing bass guitar with only two strings (and sometimes bottleneck)!!!
