On my humble opinion there are some work on the mix...your voice is a bit too much...(my taste)
Side note: I was happy when the distorted guitars came at around 1.40...:-)

Maan, this kinda hiphopish stuff is not my prefered one but I like this...the chords or the atmosphere or donno but stg is cool in this...
one sideline: if I were you I sometimes paused that high frequency synth...when the imaginery speeech's place is :-)

Traditional American acoustic song (as I know) with great atmosphere and your voice is flying high in the song...
When the cymbols came in I thought that the drum comes after but you chose the absolute acoustic way and that was a stunning decision :-)

Very cool track...like those guitars...everything...how you played, the tone and the mix (guitar mix)...my humble opinion is that the hihat is a bit noisy and the snare is a bit back...it could be my taste only...:-)
Love the singer's melodies...very catchy, bit like in top chart hits...
Overall it's a stunning track...congrats!

Thanks for your kind compliments and helpful feedback. I agree I think the hithat has to much top end. I think that is what is causing the noisiness in there. I think if they were cut down the snare would fit better.
Scott did a stereo track with the drums so it was hard to adjust the hi hats with out cutting to much of the other stuff. I will see if he can redo the drums on separate tracks so I can remaster it.

This is brilliant...so many ways to continue cause this is a superb fusioned artwork...I'm coming from the analog rock line so what I've heard around 0.47 is the continuing point for me...that brilliant guitarish toned 10 seconds...you can use that 'riff' again and build around a groovy drum to go to the prog rock way...but on the other hand there are some electro choices or finish it with an ambientish, chillish pad calmness after the vibrations before...
Maaan, this track is a growing seed...use it, do it!!!

it is indeed a bit japanese-like, though th vocals are english, but hard to make out most of the time,
