HI Danke, yeah I know what you mean. The ending was some sort of artefact I just went with, but you're right, it needs to go for longer. Not sure I'll come back to this one though. And man, gotta say again, I loved that last lofi one you put up. It's lofi and some of the sounds are lofi, but not the usual drifty type of thing - yours had a darkness to it I thought.
outstanding ... one of the best pop track I've heard here (and there) ... thosee vocs are flying ... the epic final is out of this world ...
hats off,
Danke
This is so surrealisticly cool :-)
That mandolin kinda guitar is gorgeous at around 1.20 ... the whole one is a bit Nick Cave like for me ... dark alt one ...
I know, I wrote many times but this is one of your best bro ... :-)
fistbump with my like and dl of course,
Danke
This one came together and I was surprised myself by the overall sound and feel of it, a happy accident as my favorite painter Bob Ross would say. I wasn't going to add any vocals at first because it was different sounding and I liked it. I didn't want to mess it up by adding vocals.
Alt/rock but no genre here. That Nick Cave is such a bad seed. sorry.lol
great sounded pop/punk/rock song from the 80's as WalveDriver mentioned ... welcome to the club, I mean after 3 children I can feel your insomnia ... hope it's not more than just those little guys ...
though, the song is very cool, I would have liked to hear some backing vocals in the chorus too... :-)
hats off, Danke
What an incredible piece of music here ... maaaan, this is more than awesome ... that psychedelic flight is dreamy ... vocal is bloody brilliant as the humble music ... really one of the best track in Looperman's history ... all my hats off ...
Danke
Greetings Danke, muchos gracias for your amazing comment. I was genuinely 50/50 on whether this one was good, bad or indifferent. I hoped it was good obviously, but it is so good to get some affirmation from yourself who I have great respect for as a musician and human being. There were two main inspirations. One was your use of alternate tunings (this is in double drop D) - in all the years I've been playing guitar I'd never tried this. The other inspiration for the guitar at least, was Nick Caves track Higgs Boson Blues. I loved the minimal but evolving guitar that underpins that track.
I think I would have given HALF of my life to be able to write such a first song at that time...as I think it's a great song written for a guitar loop ... that's ok, but monotonous ... if you chose the progressive line, then use more instruments ... I could imagine the saxophone for example ... when the "band" is assembled, a new instrument should be brought in... I really like the mixing, it's not too loud as usual...
that's all fro me ... great upload, have a cool songwriting forever ... :-)
fistbump, Danke
Hey Danke, I appreciate that you gave a feedback and I absolutely agree with you. Hope will do better for future. Thanks and good luck :)

very cool track ... I hear that you did songs in the past but not in this genre?! Am I right?
Technically and musically it is too good ...
great drums and break fxes ...
fistbump, Danke
donno the original but this version is outstanding ... your? vocs is professional as the music ... that lead guitar sound is bloody brilliant ...
fistbump, Danke
very cool ... the mood is sad but the track is progressive ... it's not pop ( I can imagine millions reaching for the blade... :-)
psychedelic maybe? but of course, it's not the point ...
great track, fistbump, Dankr
brilliant sound ... reverb, delay? bit much for my taste but who cares??? :-)
80's Van Halen flashed ... you play so tasty ...
cool test ...
fistbump, Danke
Thank you very much for the comment.
It's a test with a new modeler/profiler open source that's quite interesting.
It's completely free and has a strong community growing.
"Neural Amp Modeler" is the name.
I recorded with guitar stright into my audio interface using Logic and this modeler as Logic plugin, with an IR for the cabinet and Reverb and Delay from Logic.
great work on it ... first of all: hats off ... i've always admired faces, making songs out of loops ... it's a monstrous compilation with lots of colors ... 2 things only if I may: at around 1.20 the incoming solo guitar is way too harsh ... and the miss of the bass (I know it's an impossible task to find real bass loops for these guitars for 9 minutes, but maybe)...
