Hey GG my friend. WOW. Love this. I'm reminded a bit of the girl who done the O Superman track back in the day, Laurie Anderson. Not because it sounds dated but because it is so intelligent & creative. If this is what your morning commute is like then keep shutting out the world if it inspires sounds as good this.

Nice. The guitar riff sounds like Devo's Mongoloid then the track morphs into some good grooves.

Like this a lot. Should be played in a smoke filled basement bar where the drinks are tight and the ladies are loose.

LOL... If only this kind of music had the same allure it once had on people. But the ambiance you have described would be most ideal for this setting. Now do you know any good piano/solo brass/solo saxophone VST?

Superb track gg my friend. I'm ultra impressed. Kicks along sweetly with an old school vibe yet modern feel. This reminds me of some of the crossover acid house that was pinging about in the early '90's. I look forward to hearing you develop this track & the vocals suit it spot-on.
Dunno much about conversion but I use DVDvideosoft Free Studio. Try to normalise & compress when I mix down then do a normal & high quality MP3 conversion then post up the one that don't exceed the upload limit ha ha. Sounded OK to me though. Quality work mate.
Peace, Love & Justice.

Vis,

Thank you! About the crossover acid house...you got that about right. My style, as it's still budding, does appear to have an electric 80's/90's feel. However, I do try hard to get some modernization cooking in my tracks. Glad you enjoyed. And, thank you also for the tips on compression. Everything I've done is self taught, so when I have 18 hours to figure out how compression works, I will compress, and compress some more.

Rock on boi.

on LET GO featuring NATE MONOXIDE by edzwood
Cool track Edz my friend. A real 80's vibe to it yet infused with a 21st Century feel that kinda makes it sound time-less. I enjoyed the vocal/vocoder sound. Carried the track along nicely mate

on Goatee ay by mrchewson
MrC, hello my friend. Hey this track is good. If you wanna "change" it a bit try a few different mixes on it along the lines with what Stereo suggested with the drums. Maybe layer the drum track a bit quieter behind the main and put some delay in places, boost the kick, top the snare that kind of thing? But this sounds more then just OK. You've produced a good track mate.

on As Memory Turned Pale by Ishimizu
This is with-out doubt one of my favourite ever DnB tracks. I downloaded it and it plays regularly when I'm in listening mode. Hints of Pink Floyd meets Roni Size. If this track doesn't go on to get some sort of commercial recognition in the genre then it's a funny ole world indeed. In my humble opinion an all time classic. Congrats on a 1st class, quality piece of work Ishi my friend.
Peace, Love and Justice.

Hello VSS

So good of you to take the time to stop by, listen and post comments. Really appreciate it. It was a great opportunity to collaborate with SC and I'm very pleased with the result and the comments posted by fellow loopers. Hayden is a great talent and I think the the blend of youth and experience has worked well here. I hope we do more.

I'm really knocked out with what you have written here - it's so rewarding.

Regards

Richie
