thanks for the stop of Robin, i have been mulling over the volume for 24hrs myself listened on 3 different headphones and when the hat hits it is too quiet and sounds muddy so i upped the automation on the vocal volume in these areas and added a few decibels to the backing too and thanks for the props on my progression its appreciated bro
ken hell man thats a fare rd you been on like the comment below voice and music fit well music had touches of orbital or bassments nae sure but was real good but come the end the music was background and i was more hooked on your vocals not bad indeed man.
great track
how are you Robin its great to see you about, ive got a bit of a rep now ive been here years, its all tongue and cheek, it would be great to here something from you but i understand time and other places but its great to get a comment and listen from one of my very early contacts here and an artist i miss
Hey Mr Jingle Black Peter has he been licking those frogs again?
transitions were really good and clean and drums yeah crisp like you have fare came on man look forward to hearing some more :)
Ive listened to a few bassist on here jynxs being my fav but dam this was real good all the years I have PLAYED bass i can only twang single notes to get that funk sound now my late unckle he could funk the bass thats where i got my interest from playing bass great tune from you and your friend.
I love that bass ......
Yeah the only “stereo” instrument in this is the analog rytm… and that’s a drum machine lol. So I can see now how it could do with a bit more stereo width! Aye four seasons in one day is common in aberdeen hahaha, thanks for listening again pal!
Def has that end of 80's vibe
bass remins me in The The
vocals between the cure singer and the singer from the the at bits overall loved the way the vox was i think my resemblance to th eboy from th ecure is quite pap on with the way you sang it in my head anyway.
great track man look fowrward to listening to the end product.
2017 hmmm i hear you man i was a balls hair away from being 6 foot under with a virus ended up alseep for 3 weeks but i pulled through just to loose my younger brother the year later its a horrid thing for a family to ever go through and i am sorry for your loss but by doing this for your cuz has helped you in the process again good work that means something
well done :)
Thanks, CyberFlares! Being compared to Robert Smith from the cure is a great honor. I truly appreciate that. It sounds like 2017 was a rough one for a lot of people. I'm happy you were able to overcome your virus and heal. But am saddened to hear you had to deal with the loss of your brother right after. That couldn't have been easy. We have to stay strong and keep doing what we love. That's usually the only cure for these things.
This has nothing to do with the name lol but has the 2nd coming from the stone roses i think its your vocals that made me think that or the wah guitar.
jesus this is up there with the best man really enjoyed this track makes me want to be in a smokey club jaming with you to this :)
ACE TRACK.
dude you gotta stop taking the Lords name in vain. Cheers man, this was a jam from start to finish really, one take on keys (no quantization), synth, mostly one take on vox, couple on guitar. then it was just a matter of making holes in it so to speak.
Hey man i am far from polished ive been at the producing side for 2 yrs and still learn something new every day :)
and with playing music and listening most importantly we enjoy making music and if someone else happens to like it then that is a plus in my book again great work :)
Hits me well pinned me to the wall man great work.
All great artist hate there own utensils thats why they are great your vox are good your lyrics are ace and flow good well done on the track enjoyed my listen i did. :)
thank you man as much as I make music for me it means the world when such talented and polished musicians such as yourself comment and like. Makes me feel like it was all worth it :)
Like how that last note holds at the end.
this is you singing a tad drunk wow man this was something else was getting a greatest showman vibe off this great cover also and they way your vocals went up and down at first i thought u were out of key a tick at the bigining then i realised you were singing properly and to key wow again great work glad i listened.
:)
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed. I can see why you heard the first verse that way. The harmonies used in this song are kinda surprising. More chromatic than you'd usually expect in a pop-song.
Great tune man 8 years old and still sounds fressh a test of time truly.
ace tune as i said.
but what is priceless is the info in the coments your convo with StaticNomad was something else and very imformative and funny to read gd to catch an old een fae you min...
wow man this was nice and then some brilliant sound Mrs A right it does not need vocals but if it did i think the girl from morcheba would fit well in this track really liked this one :)
I'm assuming morcheba is a band, so I might check those vocals out. Thanks for the suggestion. I like my music to create discussions and introduce new ideas, and that goes reverse for me as well :)
was almost getting a bond vibe off this at certain parts as always a great pleasure to hear your productions very well done man :) i also like the vocals almost sang out of keys at bits to me anyway but that added to the coolness of her vox....
