Great track man your processing of your vocals are very cool you have came a long way man gd job.

the vocals could of been up a tad maybe and a bit more out front, just my preference i could be wrong on that so dont take it as gospel lol

thanks for the stop of Robin, i have been mulling over the volume for 24hrs myself listened on 3 different headphones and when the hat hits it is too quiet and sounds muddy so i upped the automation on the vocal volume in these areas and added a few decibels to the backing too and thanks for the props on my progression its appreciated bro

on Four Seasons in One Day by Diskonnect
A sterio widner i think michael might be on about using i could bre wrong dont quote me on that haha,

Now when someone puts a title up like that you know they are only coming from one small space in the planet and the NE is never far away :)

I like your tune i culd even hear little sprinkles of some kinda lead coming in and out on this good work man :)
Diskonnect
Diskonnect replied 22nd Jun 2022 - 3 years ago
Yeah the only “stereo” instrument in this is the analog rytm… and that’s a drum machine lol. So I can see now how it could do with a bit more stereo width! Aye four seasons in one day is common in aberdeen hahaha, thanks for listening again pal!

on Modnex - Last Breath WIP by Modnex
Def has that end of 80's vibe
bass remins me in The The
vocals between the cure singer and the singer from the the at bits overall loved the way the vox was i think my resemblance to th eboy from th ecure is quite pap on with the way you sang it in my head anyway.
great track man look fowrward to listening to the end product.

2017 hmmm i hear you man i was a balls hair away from being 6 foot under with a virus ended up alseep for 3 weeks but i pulled through just to loose my younger brother the year later its a horrid thing for a family to ever go through and i am sorry for your loss but by doing this for your cuz has helped you in the process again good work that means something
well done :)
Modnex
Modnex replied 18th Jun 2022 - 3 years ago
Thanks, CyberFlares! Being compared to Robert Smith from the cure is a great honor. I truly appreciate that. It sounds like 2017 was a rough one for a lot of people. I'm happy you were able to overcome your virus and heal. But am saddened to hear you had to deal with the loss of your brother right after. That couldn't have been easy. We have to stay strong and keep doing what we love. That's usually the only cure for these things.

on jesus has a mighty sword by Zootman
This has nothing to do with the name lol but has the 2nd coming from the stone roses i think its your vocals that made me think that or the wah guitar.
jesus this is up there with the best man really enjoyed this track makes me want to be in a smokey club jaming with you to this :)
ACE TRACK.
Zootman
Zootman replied 13th Jun 2022 - 3 years ago
dude you gotta stop taking the Lords name in vain. Cheers man, this was a jam from start to finish really, one take on keys (no quantization), synth, mostly one take on vox, couple on guitar. then it was just a matter of making holes in it so to speak.

on Return to Oz by Killick
Like how that last note holds at the end.
this is you singing a tad drunk wow man this was something else was getting a greatest showman vibe off this great cover also and they way your vocals went up and down at first i thought u were out of key a tick at the bigining then i realised you were singing properly and to key wow again great work glad i listened.
:)
Killick
Killick replied 11th Jun 2022 - 3 years ago
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed. I can see why you heard the first verse that way. The harmonies used in this song are kinda surprising. More chromatic than you'd usually expect in a pop-song.

wow man this was nice and then some brilliant sound Mrs A right it does not need vocals but if it did i think the girl from morcheba would fit well in this track really liked this one :)
EmmaniFreeze
EmmaniFreeze replied 10th Jun 2022 - 3 years ago
Hey Cyber good seeing you as always!

Thanks for the listen

I'm assuming morcheba is a band, so I might check those vocals out. Thanks for the suggestion. I like my music to create discussions and introduce new ideas, and that goes reverse for me as well :)
