An interesting study of contrasts. A sweet voice reciting a lyric that is intensely deep, emotional. The oddly uplifting music by alividlife backing such a melancholy introspective. This is magnificent! Bravo!
Thank you Chris I appreciate the review which was very thoughtful I think.
My original reading of the poem was much more melancholy but this new reading reflects the fact that I'm much happier now.
I will pop over to your page and listen to your track. Thanks again for taking the time to listen and comment.

Incredible! I'm fairly new to electronic music, and have no idea what dub is, or is supposed to sound like, but this is good. The phrasing and parts go together perfectly. Really nice work.
Definitely not bad for a first track. I would put a transition for a bridge, or two to keep it from being monotonous but definitely keep it up. Just a warning, Acid and looping/sampling are extremely addictive.
Checking some of your stuff out. Very tasty licks. Are you a Lukather fan? Got kinda that feel. Very very cool. Do you use an Ebow on this?
Keep rocking!
Hey laser,I like the way you think! It is about the sound in the end, isn't it and Yes,Steve is awesome!
I must tell you,I have to work quite a bit every time I get this sound. No Ebow but I do use my small finger to swell the volume as I hit the strings at times to get a similar effect, and talk about cheap...this and all my songs are done using the Zoom G2-1u,it's all I can afford right now and my computer doesn't like guitar fx programs.
I pushed all gain and distortion up all I could and added the delay so it does have that saturated sound I love,I just wish it was on command.I tweak the pedal so much when I'm working on a track and even if I save the patch it still sounds different every time...go figure!
Now I do use a LPB-1 EH nano power booster sometimes to pull that sound out but there's a thin line between sweet and over done, know what I mean, you can start to sound like a Big Muff if you go too far!
I'm afraid like a lot of others that I will be chasing tone forever.
Thanks for the review and inquiring about the sound..I wish I could say it was my excellent setup but it's just my ear and a lot of luck...and knob turning : )
Oh,I am 47yrs old so I've adjusted to this endless tone quest, and I record using a Tascam digi porta studio.
Man really nice. Definitely worth putting some words to. Could also see a little fuller middle with some doowop chicks on background vocal. Really nice

I used a couple of your loops on my Dream of a Cyborg track.
