Great job bro. Love the idea you got there. Im feelin that you should replace the rap in the peice, cuz it really wasnt meant for the song. It would probably also help by introducing you a little earlier in the song too. Keep up the sick work bro.
well thats what i was asking, if we could remove the rap and do some real singing verses, maybe get farisha back in on it...i can do two versions, cus i DO love the rap
Think you might be right man, it does feel like it comes in a little early. I've got some time to make final changes before mastering, will probably switch it back. Thanks again mate.
yo thanks man! yeah i've been tryin to get people to flow on my stuff for a while. but i made this one for my homie who im gonna be doing a mixtape with.
Love it. Tottaly sounds like somethin I would listin to or hear on the radio.
EDIT: I just thought of this, but after the line that goes "we'll keep on askin tell theres no souls left", try puttin in a female voice singin the violin and maybe doin some ba bada ba ba stuff. lol probably doesnt make sense.
Great intro! loved how the piano just played around givin you a loose sound, then the build up was perfect. Maybe I would beef up the base in your kicks to give it more impact when you come out of that build-up after the intro. but other than that its great!
Thanks! I've been having a hard time learning to master my tracks, especially when it comes to bass and snare hits. Seems they always overpower everything or are drowned out. Thanks for the review.
I'm still learning as I go along. I didn't have reverb, a compressor, eq or anything going on in that recording. I'm doing that a little more with what I'm doing now. It still won't sound studio quality though, because I'm only using a $30 Rock Band PS3 mic. But hey, that's all I've got. But I'll use it to the max, ya feel me? Say what you can with what you got, do what you gotta do with what you gotta do it with. D.I.Y. to the extreme. Thanks for the review Cufool, I preciate it.
just my opinion but the scratches in the intro screwed it up. It sounded PERFECT with out em. One of the bests of looperman and maybe... oneday... just the best. haha
