Hey this would definitely work in a horror movie like you said.Listening to it you can feel like you are the detective running around in dark corners of empty streets and weird abandoned houses searching for the killer.Nice dark and mysterious atmosphere you created here man! Hey man! Nice dark trancer you got here! I think it is going quite well! Love the combination of the mysterious sounds coming in and out of the mix! As for how to end it,you could either go for some mysterious piano pads or some more dreamy piano pieces (like to give a light of hope in the darkness) or something like a hard percusion.Even so it still works really well as it is! :)
