Yeh I see what you mean about coldplay, be careful of over recording things. Your tracks are good but try and keep an eye on the levels when your recording. Remember you can always boost the signal later but you cant take distortion away. I like that there are no drums in this too :-)
Love the fact that a track made it into the WEIRD genre :-) A few sounds come in a bit over the top loud which is a shame as a blending things mildly might have worked better. Great track though. Did you play the guitar part ?
I liked this, sounded a bit like the Go Team when it started. Seemed to lose it a bit at the end though. Could have done with a bit more structure, verse / chorus type of thing to hold it together
Yeh dont bother with vocals here, works fine as it is. Very different to your acoustic track i heard earlier. I agree, the synth line is very JMJ, vangellis, art of noise etc. pretty well mixed too, powerful but not over done
Sounded like something that could have been in Beverly hills cop at the start with that bass and the chops and stabs :-)
Vocals slide in really well. i would have been tempted to merge the vocal when she holds the note with a synth or something or do something that morphs the voice and something else.
its reminds me of ltj bukem or something like that but without the beats
Sets a great ambience right from the start and doesn't disappoint when the beat comes in. Everything seems well balanced. Sounds like something i would have made :-)
Would be good if you had added some notes on how you made the track etc. Always interesting to know what was a loop and what was played in
Well put together track. Do like the twisted synth sound that comes in. You should watch the levels of some of the tracks in the mix as I think it would be better with a slightly softer more atmospheric mix. You should pay attention to the small details to get a good all round sound such as the ending, if your being chilled you dont want any sudden ends :-)
Liked the groove loops youve uploaded so thought Id give this a listen. This reminds me or stuff like dj shadow and the kind of trip hop stuff from around that time.
The track doesn't seem to go anywhere though and could do with something to make it stand out a bit more. Also the ending was a bit abrupt
Reminds me of JJ Cale or something. Great guitar playing and good that you left plenty of space in there too. Cant make my mind up if a track like this would be better or worse with vocals.
At the mo it sounds very much like a jam over the main backing. Would be an idea to structure it a little more and work on a better start and end
I liked this track although it felt like it needed something else in there. Not more sounds just to go in a different direction at some point in the track.

Dont know why but wasnt so keen on this one when it started but I left it on and it grew on me by the end. Nice movement in the drumming and the liked who the track built up. Would have maybe twisted the bass sound a bit more as it went along but thats just me
