First off I'm sorry for your loss. I didn't make anything for months after my cat died. (I live alone so that cat was my sole companion.) I give you kudos for coming back at all after a loss like that.
This has a nice poppy, airy, "let's go shopping & have fun" commercial kind of vibe to it. It's quite pleasant on the ears to listen to. So great job.
I too know how it feels to lose a beloved pet. They never judge, and they love unconditionally (though I did have a pit bull who was straight up crazy and was glued to me).
Music can be a healer, and it takes my mind off things so I decided to get back to being creative.
Nice warm fuzz on the guitar, The vocal is clear & well mixed. Reminds me of something like My Chemical Romance, emocore era of rock. I rather liked it. Great job.
Hey ClickBaitCabaret. I wish it was big budget, I'm new to production. I just moved around the percussion and drums around to give more of a complete sound.
There's quite a bit going on here & it's somewhat chaotic in spots.(I believe that's what trap is meant to be.) There's some great melodies & percussion work as well. Great work all the way round.
Mice piano melody & I like the "big drum" sound in it. Definitely has a kind of quirky old world sound. Like the last days of the Czar kind of a thing. Great work.
we have Rasmus Ryberg Andersen to thank for the piano, gewd sir,,'ve loved it since theaters,,the original's 'only' piano, jus tried to make sumpthin awesome for it
glad ya dug it,,!much appreciated (your current featured is killer,by the by,,gotta check out more'a your stoof
This is quite subtle. It has a cinematic feel to it. Like soundtrack for a drama. I really like the pad that brings to mind movement (or breathing if you like) going on in the background. I really like this track. Great work.
Thank you! I'm really glad you like it! When you mentioned "break" I had to go to wiki to learn what you were talking about haha! I've been doing this because I still don't know alot of terms in music making/producing haha (Its kinda sad but I'm working on it!)
And thanks! The tension is based on the lyrics. He/She is going through a painful crush. (He/She likes the person so much that they are literally being "Crushed" by the inner pains of being in love lol) It gets so bad that they begin to get a little frustrated/mad at the "crushee" for the pain they're causing him/her while going up and down in their emotions about it haha
I can't wait for the recorded version myself! But I really, really don't think my voice would fit well for it. (I really don't think it fits for any of my songs when working on it lol) I plan to ask for a singer's help if it doesn't work out soon!
Sorry for the long comment, seriously!! I also forgot to mention in the description I was listening to Loveshot by EXO, and (while hyped on) Fine by Got7 while writing this! That could maybe also explain the tension in the song? xD Thanks!
Love the lo fi FX on the intro & ending. What sounds like a real short delay on the clap works well too. The pad work is melodic & just slightly sinister. Naturally, I love that. Good, dark atmosphere here. Great work.
There's Some really nice, subtle pad work here. You may want to consider redoing the track once you get your computer wohs in order. This has a great deal of potential.
