I've always been a big fan of SoleilxLune, but in this piece she sounds like an angel from heaven. The music compliments her voice perfectly and powerfully. One of the most moving pieces of music I have ever listened to. World class.
Can't believe I hadn't fave'd this one yet. I keep hearing this in my head when driving home from work. Please do more of these. Love the chill vibe. It is healing to the soul.
mmm... mmm .....mmmph! You're easily my favorite artist on here, and this track shows me why. No one can compete with your soulfulness, smoothness, and funkiness. Always gives me that good feeling. Pro quality production as always. Best of the best.
Seems like music goes round and round. I feel like 80's has already started to make a comeback somewhat, but, its more of the 80's sounds with todays drum sounds which I kind of went for here.
You got my feet tappin with this one. I think you have a great voice for the blues. Put me into a good state of mind. Liked the experimental feel to it too, with the surprises mixed in.
Thank you, Neuromancer56, for the listen and the review. It was insightful and appreciated. Thanks for the comment regarding my voice, I am very conscious about my voice. Sometimes my sinuses haven't made it unintelligible. It is always good when someone finds one of my "Easter eggs" as I am noted for them. Vic
This sounds so genuine, so heartfelt, and true. Listening to all your other tracks, I see that this simpler cleaner acoustic style of music just fits your vocals to a tee. You could crank out a ton of these and be a star. Better than a lot of what I hear on the radio.
Hey man/woman! Since you have two separate comments, I'll just have to respond to this one.
Thanks for the feedback! I did try and make this song as a joke at the first time I was making it but hearing it throughout my production, it kinda pulled me to making it a tad-bit better than a "joke" lol
I could try lengthening the song, but that would just beat the idea of it as a joke. What I mean by a "joke" is that I just wanna make it very short and really not that good at the mixing and mastering aspect of the song.
Again, thanks for the precious words you gave! I never knew this simple song I made could hit someone THAT hard. I might make more kinds of songs like these when I get the inspirations I need. Cheers!
I love this song. The vocals are amazing and think all the musical elements are perfect. I would maybe tweak the transitions at 0:09 and at 1:10 which also could lead to lengthening the track a bit. But this song gives me a heavy case of the feels, more than just about anything else on this site.
I've always loved your beats, but you took it to a whole new level with this. You can compete with the bigs with funk like this. I hope you do more funk, because this just blew my mind.
Love the mood of this one. The beginning is introspective and beautiful. Gorgeous build up. Nice flow. Intensity of feeling. Buzzing bass cuts through to strengthen the effect. A masterpiece. Possibly the best track on this site.
I'm usually not a big fan of Trap, but I like this a lot. Really phat sound. Has some good emotional depth, and sense of mystery. Compelling listen. Flat out rocks. I'm jelly. Would like to do some like this myself. I'd like it to be longer.
Bro you got massive clipping in your vocals. You need iZotope's Rx6 Standard (on sale for $249), then use the De-Clip in that suite. Either that or turn your head away from the mic when you are singing the high notes.
Bro, don't take this the wrong way because you know like 1000 times more than I do about music. However your music has a tendency to be nice. Like it doesn't want to upset anyone. To do EDM and make a hit, you have to throw all that theory out the window and just go with how it makes you feel. And you have to be willing to go crazy and upset people. To have soul, you have to be willing to expose all kinds of pain inside you and be willing to dump it out there. That's called being edgy, and that's the way to make a hit. I think you should do what I do for a while, just use loops, and see if they sound edgy and stir up your emotions. Use them to make some bad ass tracks. Once you have mastered that then go back to composing your own stuff. I'm telling you this because I respect you, and want the best for you and your music.
Really meaning comment.
I was trying to find something very important between the line of your message.
I divide what I felt into these categories bellow. I hope to share with you, if you consent one of these.
What I totally agree
Music Methodologies is limited to good feel of the resonance,
melody line (incl. counter line), and how well sound the instruments.
Although, they don’t have how well music makes someone feel good or bad,
they are one of the tires drive music safely.
What I miss now
My music uploaded here don’t have a condition that someone ask me to make a music
for a certain situation such as films, TV drama, or commemoration private video.
So, I possibly make only for musical resonance., missing how someone feel.
What I do now
Very my experimental, confined to understand when I use harmony with some instruments,
how it turn out to be. So, if someone favorably listen to my music, I should have put more
musical essence which makes more heart moving including edgy one.
As of now, I don’t know what it is. But, If I use loops as you said, it may be the answer.
I may continue to upload easy pop, jazz tune for experimental basis.
What I want to do
What I really want make is that
getting out of 8bars A melody follows A dash, follows B bridge
with comfortable harmony or standard jazz chord progression with standard
key modulation. Not only these but also Melody line.
I hear ‘Shashank Redemption’ by Thomas Newman, recently.
