Nice jazz arrangement. You do have a good voice. Reminds me of a Bob Marley song with the vocals and lyrics. Your doing pretty good with what you've got. I think that's what we are all try to do.
I know it's hard when you haven't produced any new tunes in a while. It sounds like your on the right track to a fine mix. I like the ethnic instrumental mixed with those cool breaks.
Nice tribute on such a day as Martin Luther King Jr. Day I had to give this mix a listen to again. Very well done. Keep spreading the positve energy Pepper.
Sweet sound! Not a bad audio transfer at all. I remember the time of cassette tape, that is what I cut my teeth on in the audio world; boomboxes and cassette recorders. I enjoyed taking the trip with you in the "Waybackwhen Machine".
it's funny to think we "jammed" with a boombox recording our ideas and songs, and that was high tech! gladd i was able to keep alot of my old stuff for th memories!
tnks for tuning in,

Thanks again Toddj,I can record my music and I do compos also..But im not that good at mixing loops like you do and many others do on this site..
Peace ....Dvibe
This song is very Zen. I like the simplicity. It's good to hear your guitar stylings. Your vocals also make this a nice listen. I can feel the soul in your voice. Reminds me of some Peter Gabriel. Mabey even a little bit like Bob Marley or his son Ziggey.I most of all love the message of this song. Nice bit of song writing.
Glad you liked it and that the lyrics were well received and the message it came with..Others have told me my voice was similar to Peter...
Music comes from the Soul..thats what music is all about.. peace Dvibe
Very cool. Another nice mix. Love the vocal sample almost sounds like someone's voice i've heard before. There did seem like there was a little bit of space in between some of the beat where it just for a millisecond would throw the tempo of the track off but then it would recover. It almost sounds intentional. Great Stuff! Reminds me a little like The Orb. Very ambient or glitchy Abmient.
I guess I'm not too familiar with Captian America, but I'm sure this would have been the durge that they would have played for that particular scene. Another superb effort. I especially loved the pounding drums. This song would work good in 5.1 or better surround. Preferably in a theater.
I like how you meshed the modern glichy beats with the more traditional strings. Very nice touch. The description you wrote was perfect to set up this track. I'd have to say that you are a genius. I'm humbled that you would make such kind remarks about my music. Movie scoring should be in your future.
Wow! Masterfully done. From the sounds of it I think you've arrived. I can hear the worldbeat throughout this song. I seems to have an African flavor to it. Especially with the vocals. I agree that it is a top shelf product. I'd buy it.
Pretty smooth. Like your vocals. Your song's got soul. I'm not familiar with Lou Reed. But your voice reminds me a bit of Moby's. He has some pretty good material. He covers a wide range.
I'd like to hear a remasterd version of this one. Keep it up man. Cool stuff!
There is deffinitley some issues with the sound levels and the balance and flow of this mix. But thats all right because you have to start somewhere. Just try to mix your song as though you were playing all the instruments in a band. Figure out what elements you want And then arrange around those main elements. And make sure that your sound levels aren't clipping too much.
I can admit that my first time wasn't very good. I experimented for severial years and practiced. Read some books and music making magazines. I'm still not an expert. right now I'm just limited to mixing loops which is how I got started. I use Acid as my main program for arranging and mixing. I got my start on PS2 Game Console version of Magix Music Maker. Then found out it was much easier to do on the computer. If you keep your eyes open you can find a fairly cheap one or two instrument input device that can allow you to make some pretty decent guitar and vocal recordings. Keep working at it and practicing. I cant wait to hear some more Mixes from you.
YEa not bad for my first time...I wasnt really sure where i was going ...just wanted to try...I uused loops on this site just to try it out..But if you noticed the last 5 songs i did i just used someones beat and i play the instrument myself..I feel more comfortable that way sinceIm a musician..im not really a DJ...but ill try it out again thanks to your tips...Peace Dvibe
Wow! I can see the epicness of this track. Nice vocals. The mix really flows pretty well. I love it when at about halfway through, the song really comes alive. It would definitely make me dance.
Wow, imagine if Abe had had his blind fold off. Very cool production. You can chill to this or you can dance to it. I wan't to hear some more. It does resemble the York sound. The title fits very well.
It's got a nice groove. I'm sure the dobroh sounding guitar is to sound a little detuned It almost doesn't blend with the rest of the track. It's not too bad though. the rest of the production is sweet. Reminds me of something Moby Might have done or an old timer like John Lee Hooker. Keep the funky groovin going on.
Nice and groovey mix of beats and melodies especially the vox. reminds me of an old Verve vocalist like Nina Simone. Pretty cool stuff. It gets me dancing. Keep it up djsalkizar.
I'm not a big metal fan, but I don't mind taking in a bit of metal every now and then. It sounds like a pretty good production. It sounds like you have a good start. It does sound like the bottom end has fallen out on the Bass. Good luck with the post production of this tune. This track could be used however you can imagine. Add vocals and lengthen it a bit or use it as a soundtrack. Nice job!
It's hard to catagorize some music. Some people get stuck in a rutt and get too worried about what style the song is, instead of how good the song actually sound. Good Stuff.

It sounds very cool. This almost sounds like the sound track to an early video game. It might work as a sound track to just about anything. Nice little diddy. Sounds like a rare gem.
Hey It sounds pretty good. I think it would work as personal background music like Orihime said. That guitar sounds pretty cool. Reminds me of some classic rock tune. Not sure from which band though. I't has a pretty catchy riff. It does hook the listener. That might be why it would work well in a commercial.
Nice touch with the horns. Makes me feel happy!
This is definitely an interesting track the production is spot on. It sounds like some of the Greats in This genre of music. It has a very nice Dub Sound to it.
I can't say one thing bad about this tune. Once again Devodale has done it again. It has the Classic Devodale touch. I don't think its that far of a departure from your earlier material. It's just better quality and more modern. Excellent chilled out groove.
You are being so diligent in listening to all my stuff. I am honoured. I should piont out my name is "Devodale" not "Devondale". No worries tho. You are not the 1st to do that. Don't forget to check out my loops too!
Awsome quality. This song captures the essence of ambient muzak. Despite the dictionaries definition of muzak, this song isn't bland at all it is full of emotion and gives you a certain feeling of eerieness to it. Very smooth and moving. I like everything about this track. Your friend Ken did a phenominal job on the guitar. The delays create a nice padded sound. This was nice collaberation effort. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
