To get better at making beats study the great beat makers. Rarely do they give away their secrets so you must study the beats themselves. After a while, their technique will start to become apparent especially with your own trail and error. A couple of my fav beat makers; Dr. Dre, 9th wonder, Ayattolah, Scott Storch. The key is to take pointers from the greats but still remain original. Best of luck to you.
Well, it seems experimental, but still has the catchy quality that could inspire creative lyrics and a hot song. Remember most mc's feel comfortable with 8 bar hook, 16 bar verse section with intro, outro and a possible bridge. Also a name for the beat that came to mind while you were making it might spark the writing process. I would say overall good job especially for your 5th beat. Peace 4M@
The point that stands out to me is right when the beat comes in. Finding that sweet spot and getting a good loop is what I would do. You could add some variance latter with a bridge or hook section. It seems experimental which is good, but each transition has to magnitize the listener at least as much as the prior section unless there is a downtempo for effect. Just my opinions. Very interesting work.
This is dope, second verse is crazy. Nice concept, we need more rap vocalist on this site only a few on here. That's tight that you also have experience on the production side too. I've been mixing and mastering my own songs too starting in 2018. It really gives a sense of freedom when you become more independent musically. Good work.
Exactly what I thought when I first heard the acapella on looperman. I had to make something for it. The lyrics are just too good not to. Thanks for listening.
Not bad for your first beat. Studying the great beatmakers with some trail and error to find your style is what i reccomend. Also upgrading your sound with high quality beat kits is another step. That stuff will come in time, good job though, keep working.
For your first beat its not bad. As soon as i was going to type that it maybe was a little repetitive is when it switched up lol, somewhere around 1:30. Good job, keep it up.
