Ok, this song is good, but it can be better. First of all you need a better microphone because the vocals sounded crappy, Also maybe a little more vocal editing to sync it better to the song. otherwise I kinda liked the breakdown... I'd give the breakdown an 8/10 and the song an 8.5/10
hi sorry it took so long to reply, been away...THANK YOU very much for you great review I love rob zombie & could only wish to sound that good.thanks again :-)
This is really good. Again, I love the breakdown.I suggest toning down the synth just a tiny bit because it's a bit distracting in the beginning. At 1:27 and 1:55 it sounds a bit like too quick of a jump betwwen genres. Otherwise i'd say 9/10!!
hmmm...lets see, I use cubase 5 for all of my recording and mastering. For drums I use EZ Drummer with the DFH expansion, for guitars I use my Line 6 Toneport UX2 running through Pod Farm on my PC (I bought the metal shop expansion on pod farm because the factory amps kind of suck), and that's all on this track. For tracks that have synth I use all kinds of various plugins though haha
Thanks for the input, but we've decided on the Evanessence direction in 2004 and we still like the idea. Our goal is to be as unique as we can and still make money at shows, lol.
thanks a million for that comment,if only!!! i like the track even though it was recorded 2 years ago I have gotten a bit better now but Im still not very good with production (& im a very bad vocalist in my opinion lol) but again thanks alot!!! :-)
Wow! This track is simply amazing. The beat is genious and the rap is insanity. Only a great rapper is allowed to have a track called, "You Can't Surpass Me" and this is far above great. You remind me of Benefit a lot.
