saw this as a featured track. sounds good, even through these crappy speakers. like the beginning. the track overall has drive, something a lot of tracks seem to lack these days, that "live" drummer pocket keeper. loved that change around 2:00.
mannnnnnnn, you put all your feelings n scremfs into dat song.
:-) you made me feel that! nice beat and the rap comes in just in the nick of time to break things up. love the concept. keep em comin.
thanks alot. music isnt true if its not from tha heart. ive tried rap and its not for me, but singing always has been. i listen to the first track on your profile and let me say you should already be discovered. you have a very pretty voice. thanks also and glory be to god.
this is so deeply sad. i feel the sadness from start to finish. shame we feel this way sometimes, but as they say good can come out of bad. and this great piece came out of "just one of those moods". great job! DLd for my listening pleasure! thanks for sharing.
...um, it sounds a little confusing. you didn't really stick to anything long enough to get a feel for what you were trying to accomplish. i think i'm trying to say you have quite a bit going on, so its hard to distinguish a pattern here.
i'd def be interested in hearing your ideas on the pellas for this. good effort though.
you have a very interesting sound. sounds like a bit of funk. makes me imagine austin powers (love austin powers) doin some kind of crazy thing. lol. love the horns. nice job.
yes, this is very simple, to the point, somn to listen to on an easy saturday with a cup of hot tea. and the other thumb up for the selection of guitar!! great job, DLd for saturdays. thanks.
hiphopnb! very interesting track you did there. wish i were at some good speakers, think i hear horns and guitar? please email it to me, i will send my email address, so i can get a good listen. but it sounds good, even at a low volume through crappy speakers at work...shhhh. lol
ooookay, wait a minute, this GR 55 patch thingee...is that the part in the song i REALLY like? where theres no vocals? i absolutely love that, so unique and well thought of! had to say that! :-)
chile if you'd asked me about a duet, vocal arrangements, harmony or somn like that i wudda had ya back...but i'm a mix and master dummy as well!!
there are some really great and knowledgable ppl here who don't mind giving feedback, you just kinda gotta get out there & mingle to meet em. try posting a pella or two (side note: at times for me personally that becomes a bit overwhelming) but collabs build muzical "relationships" and come with a lot of good perks. sorry i couldn't help. :-)
as far as "something you did vocally", just be sure to watch your levels while recording. very good bit of advice given to me during my time here, put some compression on those vocals! that helped a lot! and (as loving as i possibly can say) muzic doesn't cover it. not sure what kind of mic you use or where you record and how you record, but all that plays a part as well. maybe your headphones arent allowing you to hear what you need to hear. best "dummy" advice for now, watch your levels, if you see red, the piece is dead. off for now. good luck and keep up the good work...mingle mingle mingle
very nice voice, track peaked in a couple places. i wouldve like to hear your vox a tad bit closer, sounds like they're too far away. but i like the feel of this, very relaxing, good for gettin in tune to worship. and the vocal arrangements are nicely and creatively done. good job.
Thank you so much for your critiques.. VERY Specific i really appreciate it! I SUCK AT MIXING, yet getting better lmbo haha.. Yea, the vox really did fade in and out, because it was somthing (???) i did vocally, and music covers it.. What do u suggest for that because this isnt the only piece noticeable Thanx (-:
def has that "somebody finnuh die atmosphere". like the guy killin ppl is lookin upon his next victim who sits in a chair humming, doin somn utterly ridiculous and doesn't realize he's there. or a frankenstein-ish vibe. sigh, my imagination is scary at times. lol. this piece make me imagine, great job.
hey there, saw this as a featured track. im not mix and master guru so i can't help you there, and unfortunately don't know anything about the DnB genre. so...all that said...from a "general audience" perspective i'd like to say thank you for using my pella!! i think the pella goes ok with the muzic, it doesn't make me cringe, or make me confused (about what you were thinking), or hit the stop button. :-)
as i listen im trying to find the right word to describe how this makes me feel, but i can't think of it. def has an 80s feel. its soft, smooth, peaceful, like a nice walk on the beach...
just a thought, thats what you should name it, cuz it has a feel of peace & serenity, just got mixed up with a hip hop beat to give it that hip hop feel. nice one yesh.
Awesome- Thanks! :)
I feel I'm still making stuff a tad repetitive, I need to gather more "meat" for my tracks. I like some of the intro hooks I've made but then I'm stuck with nothing to follow up with.
Considering so far I've used female vocals in both tracks, I think it would be much funner to use yours instead of the anonymous ones that came with my program (besides- I love your voice!)- if ya don't mind. I am a nube, but I promise to try not to mess it up too bad. :P
