hey there, saw this as a featured track. im not mix and master guru so i can't help you there, and unfortunately don't know anything about the DnB genre. so...all that said...from a "general audience" perspective i'd like to say thank you for using my pella!! i think the pella goes ok with the muzic, it doesn't make me cringe, or make me confused (about what you were thinking), or hit the stop button. :-)

as i listen im trying to find the right word to describe how this makes me feel, but i can't think of it. def has an 80s feel. its soft, smooth, peaceful, like a nice walk on the beach...

just a thought, thats what you should name it, cuz it has a feel of peace & serenity, just got mixed up with a hip hop beat to give it that hip hop feel. nice one yesh.

I feel I'm still making stuff a tad repetitive, I need to gather more "meat" for my tracks. I like some of the intro hooks I've made but then I'm stuck with nothing to follow up with.
Considering so far I've used female vocals in both tracks, I think it would be much funner to use yours instead of the anonymous ones that came with my program (besides- I love your voice!)- if ya don't mind. I am a nube, but I promise to try not to mess it up too bad. :P

i looked into itunes as well, found it to be a bit much for me at the particular point in my life.

i like the live sound of the drums here. i don't think the key you're playing in is the same as the pellas but i do like the track. ever thought about posting it seperately?

You're right, it's rather nu soul than r'n'b.
While mixing this track I was thinking to Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill.
If you consider we can do better, and wish any correction on the sound (maybe too much bass and the piano's still too shy...), on the structure or whatever, please tell me.
I will do what you want!

And if you have other pellas of this style, it will be a pleasure for me to contribute.
