on Living in the Past by Emerica
Wow Emerica! You composed that all yourself, and in only 2 hours? I am new to the music making business, but I would say that is pretty major talent. It takes me 2 weeks to make a song, and even then it is usually with the help of loops.

on Messin Around by DeeJayOz
This is a cool track DeeJayOz. I love the beat box action, I haven't heard that in a long time. You tied it into the music so well. I don't know why, but as I listened to it I just pictured it being in some strange Quentin Tarantino movie or something. Good Job!

I always thought it had a kinda Oceans 11 feel to it my self.

That was really good catheadstu. This should be the soundtrack for a movie. Keep it up!

on All Systems Go by DeeJayOz
I would say you got the genre right. I thought you did a good job of mixing all of the various electronic sounds. I liked it because it sounded smooth, not as repetitive as a lot of electronic music.

on Gambino Piano by Napalm_John
Pretty sweet Napalm. To me it sounded like it would be a good base for a Hip Hop song about an old day mafia don (like you said Godfather-esque).

Thanks for the feedback it's much appreciated, I made this track just for fun but I'm thinking about tweaking it and using it's layout for an actual song.

I love it Mokeone. Bilbozo's loops are always great, you did them justice for sure.

Sounds great Jmyers. I especially like the bass. I can imagine how good some rap lyrics would sound with it.

on Deep by Birdy
Nice Birdy,
There is something so weird and cool about a female reading a children story to the beat of a bizarre industrial sounding rhythm, great idea. Your girlfriend has a nice speaking voice too, I love the accent. Wait, you aren't the ones with accents, you talk the way English is supposed to be spoken, it is just because I am American and I subconsciously think anyone that knows how to talk right has a fancy accent =}

How the heck do you manage to amplify your music so much without causing unwanted distortion?
Birdy
Birdy replied Unknown - 2027 years ago
well the language isnt called english for no reason.. haaha
i find if your careful with the cut levels on the basses, and make sure that you twiddle it on full volume, then at any volume you wont get distortion.
i find it kinda wierd listening to that track though, hearing my girlfriend talking like a fat middle aged man when the vox decends :D

on Black Sun by scratchrabbitt
That was cool in a weird way. I admire when a musician can find a way to organize chaos, it reminds me of why I used to love Skinny Puppy.

I agree with Eshar, you have talent for sure. I am not even a hip hop fan and I am looking forward to hearing more of your stuff. Keep it up!

Very nice Gsusfrk. I really liked all the rich sound throughout the song and how well it worked with the beat.

Nice work disciple2jah. I especially like the middle eastern sounding instrument and how well it went with that beat. Nice sounding bass too.

on Free To Fire by Zalg
I liked it Zalg. Nice composition. I think what I liked best is that metallic effect with the snare sound. It gave it a kind of industrial feel, which goes well with your description.

Cool Zalg. I really like the sound of that loop with the plucked or string type instrument. Good Job.

Great song lofi. Great lyrics and singing. I wish more hip hop artists would try to convey intelligent messages like this.

on Trancemission by CTPLR
Good job Treyc. I don't know much about the difference between techno, electronic and trance. I would assume that trance music is meant to kinda mesmerize a person with a steady beat and mysterious ambient music. I think you did great at providing both elements.

I take back what I said about the bass in your Angels in the Sky song. It was the first track by you I had heard and I can see now that it was the effect you were going for in that song. You obviously have a good sense of volume proportion I would say after hearing this one.

That song scared me a little when the mood changed, in a good way. I think you did a good job of conveying your intended message from the description you gave. Good job.

on I've seen better days by blairrock957
I like your music Blair for the simple fact that I always get a clear sense of your strong and loving spirit. That is an element that no amount of technology and fancy effects can give a song or a singer. Just keep doing what your doing, in music and in life, because you are obviously on a good path.

on the struggle by georgelynch
Good Job. I thought the drums, piano and guitar sounded great together. The first thing that popped in my head was a song I loved when I was young by Cinderella, 'don't know what you got' I think was the title. Keep up the good work.

I had never considered the threat an atomic bomb poses to our faces, I certainly don't want to get aflucted.

lol. Thanks for the review. Making this one kinda reminded me of when I was a kid and every threat to your friends involved something and their face. And yes you never want to get aflucted...let me tell you I worked on that for a long long time, I only had a couple words to use, eventually I got it as close as I could and said fluck-it -good enough. haha. peace man.

Very nice. I especialy loved the begining. The guitar, bass and drums sounded so beautiful together. You guys sound like a fun band to hear live.

For some reason there was almost 2 minutes of silence after the song ended, just letting you know.

on electricrocodile by Scamble
I liked it, especially the stereo effects through out the song. I liked it toward the end the best when you added the distorted guitar sound. That part gave me a strange audio visualization of Rob Zombie getting into a fight with Skinny Puppy, haha (I mean that as a compliment).
