wow it's very refreshing track to listen to
i am too like the change at 1:14
just a bit of thought about your drums , maybe you can put it a bit out front at least the kick and snare sound so it will give more thump and power...or maybe it's because i listen from a crappy headphone T~T
which is which , this track will be one of my favourite :)
im begining to understand with what you meant with live mixdown
i had listen to some of your impresive tracks here , very dynamic feels like you're telling a story with your tracks
wise synths selection and very well leveled especially this track. there is one thing that ticked me ( in a good way ) ...the bassline that start at 1:33
what did you do with it? it sounds so round and full ( i hope you understand what i meant ) it is the exact bass sound that linger in my head. did you layer it with another sound or add compresor/limiter to it? or is there any particular effect that you use for it?
i hope you don't mind that i carry on our conversation here :)
Hi Aya, sorry for not getting back sooner. Typically I don't save the project under the track name I finally end up calling it! Took me a while to find it!. The bass line you refer to is from a Roland Jupiter 8V vst which is an older analogue style keyboard. Its pretty rich to start with but I just used an Eq to filter out anything lower than 20khz and slightly boosted it around the 130hz and little more at 280hz mark just to give a bit of punch. On the Master track I use Izotope 5 for the overall mastering mix using a widening and exciter setting. I hope that helps?
