this dispute is pointless. it is a matter of perception. apparently your speakers/monitors/earphones are different from what I use. my stuff is pro grade and I have around 10 years production experience. I don't think there is anything wrong with the hi hats.
someone got a synthesizer for christmas and started thinking that he is a top producer :3
