Gosh, I've got to second most of the other folks. The trombone is fabulous. The organ is a great sound. The harp is good. I like the vocal a lot. The only thing is it sounds a little shy, not because of any quality in the voice itself, but because it's not cranked in the mix. This is the kind of song that needs that voice unapologetically right up front.

Very cool piece of old music. Distinctly english. Needs a louder mix though. Peace and love, Six

I like this tune! It makes me feel like i'm in a old tavern, enjoying a real pint and listening to those good ole boys in the corner cracking out the songs. You make me want to tap my foot along or start Morris dancing, cheers Slap...

Great work. Rob and Biggy are awesome. I think you must not change your vocals. They bring the original melancholic mood on it. Fell a little bit sad while hearing and so it is good. Peace from Berlin.

I love this! That little guitar riff is wicked, and the track really works for my ears. I also like Bugs Bunny. Cheers Slap...

Loved this... all the way through. Only complaint (and it's a teeny one) is the flange ... the earthy tones of your voice got buried in it. Much enjoyed this! Lisa

Ya, the flange was last minute. I agree with you about the flange, but I also really like it.
I might just upload a second version of this with no flange on the vocals...

Way chilled man. I get a HUGE Ben Harper vibe, I love it. The filter catches the high parts of your voice, and if you could time it to tone the treble down a slight bit? Zomg. Perfect.

Ya, there are a couple of places that need some remixing. In the first verse the vocals clip a little bit. I'll keep that in mind if/when I rework this track. Thanks for the input!

Love the sound of this and the story is great. I'm really liking those trombones, such a unique sound. I'm going to check out the rest of your stuff, thanks for the reviews. Cheers Slap...

I tend to play around with intervals a lot to see what sorta flavor I can add with the horn. I've got some interesting ideas brewing for my next track, so check back every once in a while. It's gunna be a bit before I get it done, due to the busy schedules of myself and the people I want on it, but it's a brewin'.

I love this, but you should add vocals and bass too. It would ramp it up a lot better. Cheers

It's a lil weak, turn up different instruments in different parts of the song... it'll sound better that way

There's almost an Eric Clapton style vibe. I loved it. As for lyrics, that's up to you. I think it works fine without 'em though lyrics couldn't hurt the song. It's obvious that you actually play music. The arrangement is just superb. :D
spacemanjones

Clapton is one of my heroes... it's a shame I didn't play any of those parts. Thanks for the input.
